Delegates won in the primaries so far...... (per CNN)
Election Results Delegate Count

Democrats States Won Del*
Obama IA 25
Clinton NH 24
Edwards --- 18

Republicans States Won Del*
Romney WY 24
Huckabee IA 18
McCain NH 10

I can't see why some folks are so anxious to declare the nomination sealed with so few states primaries in the bag.

1. Why?
It's a conscious effort to shut others out of the process; read that anti-Democratic. Now WHO would be doing such a thing?

2. I seem to remember

that certain people were saying yesterday this didnt matter as Obama was gonna take it all and after Iowa they railed Clintons loss when she had only 1 delegate less than Obama, now suddenly its oh it doesnt matter.

Correct it doesnt matter but some people perceptions need to change of what they did. However I feel its an uphill climb for Obama, Hilary is going to lock down major load of super delegates now piling the pressure on. But then again who knows.

6. Don't forget the Superdelegates. Those special individuals
with more power than large collective numbers of people. They get to crown the winner really, with 40% of the delegates. They get a big say just because of the job they have or had.

Counting them(as per CNN):

Clinton-183
Obama-78
Edwards-52

Still, it is a long way from over.
