Some basic facts that cannot be ignored.
Obama won Iowa, Hillary was crucified in the msm, Hillary went into New Hampshire down in double digits, exit polling was spot on. Hillary won.

Now I have tried to keep a positive attitude to wards all of our candidates since last night, but some of the bullshit being posted is beyond comprehension.

I guess some just have not learned their lesson. I guess it's true ignorance is bliss.

3. I disagree.
I still think the race is open to Edwards Hillary and Obama. But some people really should think before they post bullshit.

4. Another basic fact: election fraud
I do think HRC won, but given the opacity of the electoral process, we need to ask these questions. Otherwise, we'll be screwed again in the general election.

Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 02:11 PM by Benhurst
I'm sure he's found Jesus and has given up all plans to fix the 2008 presidential election.

Our "leaders" in Congress aren't worried, so why should I be?

28. We recently had a recount in our Mayor's race
The winner picked up 3 additional votes. Now the loser is taking it to the state S C.
It was a very close race but there is a time to stop. I feel like I'm losing my vote again.

18. Not all votes are hand-counted.
The more populous counties feed the hand-marked scantron ballots into a Diebold optical scan reader which does the actual counting.

21. Yes, the voter himself feeds the ballot into the machine
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 01:25 PM by HughMoran
No human hands touch the ballot except the voter until after it's counted by the optical scanning machine.

23. But the COUNTING is separate from the feeding
...and that's the problem. The tabulation is done by a privately owned and designed software program, with no voter or government oversight.

24. There is always a possiblity of errors. Thankfully the exit polls matched the results
exactly. 39-37 for both - there is no arguing the veracity of the vote in this instance.

25. Neither is there verification.
We have faith-based voting right now. No one really knows the actual results in machine-counted areas.

I've said before, I figure HRC won this one, and good for her. BUT, we need to be working on election integrity throughout the promaries, to demand a more transparent process: otherwise, we'll have another presidency stolen in the general.

Too many Dems are like frogs in a pot. We need to jump BEFORE the water gets hot enough to kill us.

9. what "lesson" would that be?
because I see proponents of all candidates guilty of something, and the main thing they're guilty of is hypocrisy: they like to dish out the most negative things thinkable against others but whine like a wambulance when it happens to their candidate.

perhaps people should separate THEMSELVES from the arena of being hurt when people don't like their CANDIDATE.

if that happened, a great deal of acrimony would be avoided.
