Dear MSNBC--Fire Chris Matthews
I just sent an e-mail off asking that MSNBC fire Tweety over his offensive remarks about Hillary.

Who will join me?

5. because, hopefully, you can see beyond that and realize that what he
said was offensive to ALL women, not just Hillary?!

Personally, as much as love Keith, I cannot watch MSNBC when he is teamed with Tweety.

21. If that's sincerely what he meant, then I don't agree.
But I do agree that in great part she got her job because of her husband, not because of her merits. Just as she's trying to do now. Bill needs to get off of the stage, he's only tarnishing his legacy by stumping for her. Let her try to win her own battles (or elections) without him.

And second, I'm a woman - so I thought I'd put that out there. I sincerely cannot understand why on earth people here, at one of the most liberal and progressive political communities on the web are voting for nothing more than a Lieberman wannabe.

4. Vote with your remote
Turn off the TV. Don't patronize his advertisers. And tell ten of your friends to do the same.

They'll get the message.

6. Amen
You got it right - vote with your remote. And think for yourself while you are at it. You only empower him by listening and emailing about him.

9. How does turning your TV off do anything?
Unless this poster happens to be a Nielsen family, turning the television off won't do a bit of good...unless it's all for their self worth.

You can boycott the advertisers, but if you're not watching, how the hell do you know who is advertising and who is not? :D

15. it does a lot for me...
all those things that used to get me in a dither don't hit my radar screen. The filter through which I see the world has that much less garbage cluttering up my view. I also need to curtail some of the time I spend here..as DU also has a way of getting me in a dither too...over absolutely nothing that is real.

12. He won't eat crow he is too arrogant.
Even KO had to put him down last night. He is just awful. I only watched because KO was on and I wanted to see the results. I have come to hate Tweety because he is such a woman hater. Thats why he loves Ann Coulter she is a guy.

22. Did you see KO call him out last night.
For instigating the whole thing with Clinton grabbing his cheek. KO said "Wait you touched her first? Thats not how you reported it.", and Tweety, tried to blow it off while the whole panel laughed at him. It was great, thats when I went to bed a happy person.

13. he did some of it yesterday but then this morning was even more offensive,
suggesting that the only reason she is a senator is because of Monica's blow job on Mr. Clinton. Not verbatim but that was his drift. He is beyond any redemption. I actually think he is slipping into insanity.

14. I don't remember any one thing per se from yesterday or otherwise,
but I do know he's got some kind of colossal testosterone complex.

He has a serious issue here. Honest to God! I find it REALLY annoying and obnoxious.

He's the first one to try to stir things up and provoke fights. He's the first one to slobber after some presumed macho guy. He's got a real throbbing one for Ed Rentell of Pennsylvania. He was one of the loudest, most loutish hyenas crowing about bush's prance-dance around the aircraft carrier (we're ALL neoCONS, now!!! - pant-pant, gush-gush, slobber-slobber). He's all over rudy all the time - practically fellates the man. He's even yammered on about how "I just wanna see a GUY out there. I love having a GUY out there."

Perhaps he got beaten up just one time too many on the playground? Perhaps he was the weasel-y little ninny on the sidelines who was too big a runt to defend himself when somebody threw a ball at his face, but just loved to watch other kids get into it. Maybe he was the kid who tried to provoke others to fight on the playground so he could get in there and rub his hands together and holler "Fight! Fight! Fight!" Maybe he wanted to take bets or something.

I saw that in my own case - with my son. He was bullied on the playground all the time. Perhaps it was because some kids knew he'd earned his black belt and they wanted to see fights, fights, fights. He was taunted and provoked ALL THE TIME, and even called "faggot" because he wouldn't mix it up with people. It hurt him a LOT. One of the worst offenders, sadly enough, was one of the girls. Just really made me sick.

I'd bet chris matthews is one of those. DEFINITELY has some sort of issue or complex or SOMETHING.

18. Let's blame it on the nuns in his Catholic grade school. I used to get
great pleasure of blaming "Sister is crazy mom"....My mom went to Catholic School, she bought it. Chris is typical loud-mouth Irish kid at the dinner table who has to talk the loudest to be noticed, otherwise he's ignored. Just my take anyway...

23. Yep, that's a pretty good analogy!
I don't know how many siblings he has (or if he even does have any), but it makes a lot of sense. Madonna once said that's what made her tick. And she DID have lots of siblings all arguing and pushing and shoving around the dinner table for position and attention. And it was intensified by the death of her mother while they all still lived at home.
