Comparing Kerry's Endorsement with Clinton's Campaigning |
|
Clinton, as in Bill, not Hillary.
On one hand you have, until he's unseated, the head of the Democratic Party actively going out and bashing another candidate. A former president, a highly-respected member of the party - going, not just to drum up support for his wife, not just to defend her against attacks - but to actively go on offense against a young up-and-comer in the party.
And then you have Kerry, the nominee in 2004, who got more votes than any other Democrat in history, throwing his weight (and considerable voter database), behind the new guy. Telling people positive things about him and defending him from presumptive attacks on his viablity.
One is mercifully attacked and told to go back to the shadows. The other is embraced.
I'll leave it to you to figure out which is which.
I'm saddened, personally.

3. "go on the offense against young up and comer"? |
|
I wouldn't paint my candidate as wet behind the ears.

a young up-and-comer means he's a rising star, not a neophyte.

5. kerry surprised me that he would "chose sides" |
|
i agree with kerry and i think i understand the reasons behind it. to me he`s saying it`s time for our generation to pass the torch to the next generation.in some way he is agreeing with obama..put the 60`s behind us and go forward.
i look at the people who barrack has to advise him and to guide him and i`m more opportunistic than i have been in years.

Kerry can say what he wants, and you can think what you will, but you can keep Kerry, I'm happy with Wes Clark, Barney Frank, RFKJr. George McGovern, and all the other fighting liberals, including Bill, who've backed Hillary Clinton . :-)

14. Bill Clinton has lost a lot of respect with this |
|
Shame to see the Clinton legacy basically go down the tubes so pathetically.
