You Are George Bush: Which Republican & Which Democrat Do You Want to Win?
Edited on Thu Jan-10-08 05:15 PM by David Zephyr
Certainly George W. Bush has given a lot of thought as to who will follow him into the White House and who will control the Justice Department, the CIA and the Pentagon, who would be more prone to continuing investigations into his serial criminal behaviour.

There will really be only two possibilities of the many candidates now running for that office: one Republican and one Democrat.

I am certain he will try to influence both the primaries and the election at some point. Why? Because he has done it so many times before.

If you are George W. Bush and you are sitting the Oval Office, which of the Democratic candidates would you be least nervous about and might be willing to use the Executive Branch to help their cause?

If you are George W. Bush and you are sitting the Oval Office, which of the Republican candidates would you be least nervous about and might be willing to use the Executive Branch to help their cause?

4. GWB has given a lot of though to this?
That drunken sociopath has given no thought at all to anything but his own riches as he leaves. Doesn't give a rat's ass for the Republican party or for America.

Apres moi, le deluge.

He gives less than a flying fuck.

At this point his life is about getting as drunk as possible as often as possible without Pickles finding out.

9. If I was George Bush...
I would slit my wrists.

Now, to answer a serious question:

Republican: Rudy Giuliani

Democrat: Hillary Clinton

There is NO WAY that Hillary keeps any investigation of the Bush administration going. No way on earth. She will not do it. Mark.my.words.

10. Obama! Hillary has proven that she knows how to hack the election!
Finally we have a candidate who can keep the election from being ripped off!

Go Hillary! No more chads, undervotes, reluctant responders, and DRE's. Let's get a candidate who can fight back.

11. Romney or Giuliani...
They're both up to their neck with big-time Neocon advisers, and unlike McCain, they're "loyal" and predictable Repubs, and they enjoy bending over backwards for big business interests. Since Giuliani is self-destructing, I guess that makes Romney the Rebuplican establishment candidate.

On our side, I think they would like to run against Gravel. (I bet even Gravel would mop the floor with them, though!)

25. Well, let's see here.
Bush has a 26-33% approval rating on his Iraq handling. The Democrats have a fifteen-point lead over the Republicans in "handling the war," and have strong leads on trust and competence. And the public remains evenly split on how to approach the situation.

As the war's dragged on, Democratic handling numbers have dropped. But Republican numbers have dropped faster.

So, er...where's your case?

17. I honestly don't think George cares.
George, to me, seems secretly unpolitical. I don't think he's anti-Democrat at all. I just get the feeling he's about his pocketbook, and whatever and whomever works for his pocketbook is alright with him.

But that's just me. I also get the feeling that he doesn't really care one way or the other about gays, gay marriage, gay civil unions. Again, that's just me.

21. Romney and Clinton
1). Romney 'cause he's got the God thing going on and will let "God" guide his choices (as Bush seems to think he is doing)
2). Clinton because she can't be elected and guarantees a GOP victory

-but-

If I think that Huckabee vs. Clinton might be the most dangerous combination to Dems

27. I'll bend the rules slightly and I'll explain why.
Dem: Kucinich
Easiest to beat. If, by some miracle he wins, Kuch's stint in the WH will marked by virtually no progress on all fronts due to Kuch's refusal to compromise in any way, shape, or form. Plus it would guarantee a return to RePuke rule in Congress in '10 and in the WH in '12.

Rep: McCain
Most likely to stay the course, 'nuff said.
