obviously.. there will never be another JFK. Whats your point? Obviously another anti-obama attack.
Heres one for you- Hillary is no Eleanor Roosevelt. Whats your point? These stupid statements mean absolutely nothing, especially when you offer no analysis and throw a youtube link to back your statement up.

I just don't think he can win the Presidency.

But I don't like politics in my religion and I don't want religion in my politics.
When I hear Sen. Obama do his speeches, I feel as though he's trying to "sheeple-ize" me, and I just won't have it!
If I want self-help I'll watch Oprah. If I need to be uplifted, I'll go to church.
But I'm far too cynical to want to hear this stuff coming from any political leader.

but I find it fascinating that so much of what Obama says is so much like what MLK said, but no one ever talks about that.....it's as if people purposely avoid saying it.

I think Obama is a good man and a very smart one. But he is not another JFK, or Martin Luther King.

16. I'm glad Obama isn't JFK- he's never claimed to be- and |
|
while there is much to be admired and respected in JFK, he was a man, an imperfect, inspiring man.
Obama is showing himself to be a man who also inspires people.
It wasn't 'knowing how to fight' that I find most admirable in JFK.
Your linked video doesn't demonstrate the best of him IMO-

20. jfk did`t have to "fight" because he knew how to exercises power |
|
and he had the luxury of having lbj doing the dirty work for him. he had the power of the senate behind him and he used it wisely.
it`s called speak softly and carry a big stick.

That type of rhetoric is far more Edwards style.
Bi-partizanship won't work with thugs so they need to be brought down - not co-operated with while they screw you.

29. I support all the candidates ... |
|
Obama and Clinton and Edwards ....
Obama does in fact at least possess a strong ability to form creative and inspiring political oratory, much like John Kennedy ....
Much more so than any other candidate since Kennedy .... (except Bobby, who was a very inspiring speaker) ...
This is just mean-assed rhetoric ....
I reject it wholly .....

Obama would be a weak GE candidate without all the reaching across the aisle rhetoric. What amazes me is the transformation of many of his supporters from people who chastized any suggestion of bipartisanship to people embracing it.

I'm all for fighting but if we do so with the 51/49 majority we have now, that'll be like going to war with the army we have not the army we wish we had. And we all know how that turned out.
