5. I'm from a large family. |
|
As a member of a large family, you have to share resources,or you just take them, because you are quicker, and bigger. That is what is happening. All govt. agencies that take our tax dollars are spending it on Big business. We don't have a say so. And the one person who will do something about that discrepency is being silenced. The other candidates are bigger, but maybe not quicker. It is causing tension, because the poor are not being allowed resources.

We're Democrats.
Democrats have never gotten along the way Republicans have because we are too diverse with too many separate agendas. In the end we compromise and find common ground but like sausage making it ain't always pretty.
Republicans, on the other hand, have been single purpose since probably the robber baron days. Now however we see elements of division brewing as the corporatist wing begins to fight with the theocratic wing.
So instead of bemoaning the inner fighting just get out the popcorn and enjoy being a Democrat. Think of it as a family sitcom where all the family argues until the final scene when they all come together to whack the weird neighbor who has been bugging them!

10. I'm here because I HATE HATE HATE REPUBLICANS |
|
Pure and simple. They are our version of the fascists that nearly destroyed Europe and they need to be utterly crushed as a party. I hate corporations because they assist and drive the Republican Agenda of turning us into a third world dictatorship. They both needed to be basically outlawed and their leaders prosecuted and imprisoned. My main issue with those who call themselves "moderates" is that I see them as lacking a sense of urgency about the enemies in this country that we all face, the Republicans and the Corporations. They don't seem to think that the threat is real and that things will return to the glory days of the 90's if only we'd put another Clinton in the WH. Those glory days are gone, never to return and the next president will have a mess to clean up bigger than what FDR faced in 1933. We need a president committed to a radical swinging of the pendulum back to the left to save the country from falling apart. I just think that moderates lack the courage to make that happen. They think that playing nice with the Republicans and Corporations will make them see the errors of their ways. They believe in compromise with those that would kill us and enslave us. I guess I just wish the moderates on our side would recognize the gravity of our predicament and get some courage to take the fight to the real enemy instead of sniping at those on their side. Moderation never won a battle. Only bold decisive action has ever won a battle. The time for compromise with the Right is over. This is war. We need to fight Republicans and the Corporations with everything we've got the way we fought the Nazis or the Redcoats. No prisoners or mercy. Until we do that, nothing will change. That's my two cents.
