Totally frustrated by the whole thing
Edited on Sat Jan-12-08 11:47 PM by sjdnb
Worked for Gore in '00 - he won, we didn't;
Worked for Kerry in '04 - he might have won/not sure yet, but, again we didn't.

And, now it appears I'll be forced to choose between two candidates that would appear very low on my list of preferred candidates.

Back in the day, at least we believed we had a chance to make a difference - R Kennedy, McGovern, Carter, WJ Clinton ... now, it's all about the media, money and what celebrity/politician endorses you - and, it's pretty much over before most of us even cast a vote. What kind of 'democracy' is that?

Well, I'll still vote - because, I'd feel far too guilty if I didn't - and, I'll vote for Edwards, if he's still in it or I'll write-in Gore.

But, all the mudslinging among the Obama/Clinton supporters has me wondering whether ANYONE with a chance of winning this, gives a rat's a$$ about our country or if it's just become a 'pissing match' (and, yes, I've read their 'policy stmts' and 'position stmts') -- and, I'm still not impressed, by either one.

1. I'm voting for Edwards, too.
Our caucus is February 5. This will be the first time ever I've done this, but I think it's too important not to. I agree with you that the mudslinging on the part of the campaigns of the other two is very unseemly. I really don't think any of it is coming directly from Clinton or Obama, but their supporters are definitely losing it.
