1. They realized that praising Democrats backfired in NH. It's reverse psychology |

3. they kind of dumb to want her so bad. unless! they have some dirt on her... |

that we've never heard before. I would think they would rather lose than risk hillary becoming president, even if they think she'll be easy enough to beat, the risk isn't worth having someone they hate so much!

Hillary votes totally in line with the neocons--exactly the same way Lieberman does, on war and national security votes.
If you notice, it's the neocon contingent who props her up.
The centrist Reps are not engaging in any of this. It's BushCo and friends.
She's most likely to continue the neocon game plan.
Many Dems are in for a rude awakening, if she gets in office. I believe that the shit will truly hit the fan, if she gets in. It will be at this point, that everyone will understand that both Dems and Reps are in on the fix, because we will still have war, eroding civil rights and our Constitution in tatters.
They're operating out in the open--right in front of our faces.
People shouldn't make this more complicated than it is. The Clintons were rolled into this con job a long time ago.
Sad, but true.

18. It's no risk to them. |
|
She's the one they can most easily beat. And if she does, by some chance, win she will not prosecute the Bushco criminals any more than Bill did when Papa Bush left office. She will continue the economic imperialism and the military adventuring that has been going on for the past 25 years. The ONLY difference is, she'll protect abortion rights - unless the polls tell her otherwise. Put a Democratic face on Empire - you might call it "compassionate conservatism".

5. I believe they are attempting to position Hillary... |
|
...as someone who appeals across party lines.
The right-wingnuts are wanting two candidates that will seamlessly continue the neocon agenda.
The can get that with McCain and Hillary.
They're hoping, that by not trash talking Hillary, that they increase her appeal to middle-of-the-roaders and Independents.
Gingrich has done this two other times, where Hillary is concerned. He did this on "Meet The Press" several weeks ago. He went out of his way to sing her praises.
The Clintons are good friends with the Bushes.
This is desperately sad, for what's left of our country--but it should come as no surprise to anyone.
The neocons aren't giving up their dreams. They did the most difficult part--getting a foothold in the Middle East. They know that any other Dem will end it.
The neocons are manipulating the election to ensure that both Dem and Rep nominees are friends of their PNAC plan.

A lot of people see what is going on with the repubs and some don't.
I brought this thread the way I did because the hillites swarmed all over me like a herd of locust every time I said anything but glorious accolades for HRC. Glad to see that I am not alone.

6. If Newt Gingrich praised Obama, there would be 1000 threads about it here. |
|
Personally, I don't care who supports who. My entire family could endorse Hillary and it wouldn't make me think she would be a good candidate or a good president. Fortunately, my whole family knows she is pretty awful.

12. There is a concerted effort... |
|
...on the part of the neocons--to completely destroy Obama and leverage Hillary.
If the writing on the wall is pretty obvious.
She votes in line with the neocons and never questions their pro-war propaganda and fearmongering. EVER.
She may get a few digs in on Bush, but she has not called them out, as they should be called out.
It will be interesting to see what Lieberman has to say... Maybe then people will begin to realize what is really going on here.

But if they want us to believe that, then they must know we know they want that. So we, being of superior intelligences will choose those we know they think we are against.

22. And Newt Gingrich.... |
|
From Meet the Press : FMR. REP. GINGRICH: I—look, I’ve known Al Gore for many, many years. If he runs, he’ll be a serious contender, but I think he would be fourth on that list of plausible people. I actually think Barack Obama’s having as good as run as anyone could hope for, and he’s doing it by being positive, by being engaging, and by being above all the negative Washington-based, you know, this morning’s hotline nasty attack, you know, e-mail kind of stuff. And I think if he can sustain that, despite the best efforts of many of my good friends in the media to drag him down to mere issues, he could become very formidable. MR. RUSSERT: Does he have enough experience to be president of the United States?
FMR. REP. GINGRICH: Well, Abraham Lincoln served two years in the U.S. House, and seemed to do all right.
But evil Hillary conspiracy theories are so much more fun.
