Bush: Iran threatens world security
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (AP) -- President Bush said Sunday that Iran is threatening the security of the world, and that the United States and Arab allies must join together to confront the danger "before it's too late."

snip (and check this out:)

He noted democratic reform in Iraq. "You have made your choice for democracy and have stood firm," Bush said, speaking to the Iraqi people. "The terrorists and extremists cannot prevail."

WTF???

He's going to try to push through some type of Iran thing before he leaves office.

I hope the media goes to Biden to get his take on this -- he's been telling it like it is all along. We can't believe this administration - not one fucking word!

1. Sounded bad to me also when I read the same article posted on
Yahoo's front page. Here's another excerpt:

"Iran's actions threaten the security of nations everywhere," Bush said. "So the United States is strengthening our long-standing security commitments with our friends in the Gulf, and rallying friends around the world to confront this danger before it is too late."

I really thought, just maybe, that we had escaped the bullet on this one. I no longer think that after having read the words straight from the horse's mouth. Scary.

4. Me, too (thinking we'd dodged the bullet). But with the hoopla about the CIA
tapes being destroyed, the Intelligence Estimate dropped off the radar.

Jesus -- Bush is stirring up MORE trouble EVERYWHERE.

He probably feels a time pressure now to get Iran "dealt with" before his term ends.

Or before he declares and emergency and suspends the election.

We are so screwn.

2. Nobody threatens world security like Bush does...
He's the perfect example of someone who projects his own darkness onto others.

3. Let's give the Chimp a break....
Bush is no more than a front-man in this.

Who the hell is calling these shots is honestly beyond me...

But someone's decided to put a strangle-hold on the Middle East, and is willing to put this country at the brink of destruction to do it.

11. Regardless of who's behind the curtain, Bush is playing his role and
allowing them to accomplish their goals.

Let's not give him a break. Being the front man makes him as culpable as the shot-callers.

6. When I was posting this I was thinking I didn't even have to check to see if
it had already been done -- The majority of posts are Candidate Wars. Relatively few about real issues.

Keep your eye on the ball, you guys!

9. He (Biden) said that if the situation in Pakistan blows, it will cause unrest
for at least a decade.

Anyone else HORRIFIED that Bushco is at the helm?
