Has anyone called for the denouncement of Jessie Jackson Jr's remarks?
Damn, this won't be popular with some of my black folks on this board, but, we all know that Katrina is a code word for blacks.

Jessie Jackson Jr's remarks "She didn't cry over Katrina"

Anyone else sick of this do as I say, not as I do, shit?

I am.

I'll need a bigger stick around here if this sinks like an anchor.

1. Obama supporters play coy and say what's the big deal?
It's a sickness.

It's called Obama Fever.

No cure yet, but the spread has started to slow.

13. I didn't cry about Katrina
and I'm as liberal as they come.

I got obscenely angry about Katrina.
I think that was a better response than crying.

5. It falls under the "it's only bad if an opposing candidate's supporters do it" rule.
Which is, unfortunately, a pretty popular rule around here.

Apologize J. Jackson Jr., and Sen. Obama I'd like to hear you dissociate yourself from his ugly remarks.

10. maybe we can stick Jackson Jr. and Johnson in a room together
and have them battle it out.

Can we lock up Bill too? Maybe with Oprah? I respected HRC's campaign a lot more when he was less involved. Sigh.

28. I see nothing wrong with his remarks. Lots in the government didn't cry over Katrina
Edited on Mon Jan-14-08 10:54 PM by autorank

This is one of the few remarks that makes sense. It speaks to a candidate's response to a major
crisis.

The rest of the dialog is reasonable stupid. Don't these two get it - they should discuss the issues,
which they don't.
