Let me be the first to say "Michigan Results PROVE that if nominated, HRC will lose in November" |
|
Here's why. It is a simple matter of numbers:
1. "Uncommitted" was the big winner among the democratic candidates 2. Kucinich made a stronger showing than anyone predicted 3. Ron Paul and John McCain are the big winners on the republick side, because of crossover votes 4. Far more ballots were cast for republicks than is representative of the population 5. Clinton numbers were remarkably low considering she was the only major candidate left on the ballot
I believe it is time for Mrs. Clinton to concede that the election is lost in November if she is nominated and steps aside. She should then encourage her supporters and delegates to get behind a candidate who more closely represents Democratic principles and is not vilified by the majority of the voting public, so the rest of the campaign can be substantive and the resulting nominee will have an easy time mopping the floor with whatever stooge the pukes prop up in the fall.
We must not forget that we need a landslide in the fall because as we have learned in the last two, Diebold wins all ties.

6. there is a quote of significance in that article... |
|
"The Clinton campaign said she will not withdraw from the Michigan ballot because it is unnecessary to do so."
She is going to regret staying in because all her one person beauty contest will serve to do is make her look bad

7. Whatever. It's just the Michigan primary. No one really cares. |

Good luck to your candidate, if you have one.

17. I dont think you can so quickly discount MI.... If Dennis beats Hill, it will |
|
show the strong anti Clinton sentiment that will mean something in the fall if she is eventually our nominee. Also, if Ron Paul has a strong showing on the Repuplicant side it will show that the Iraq issue is still very viable.
I think the Dems should be continually pounding the Iraq war.... Promising investigations into the intel and the mis-handling of war funds and war profiteering if elected!!! imo

9. WTF?!?! This is the craziest post I've seen so far.... |
|
Today is the 15th. It's 9:30 a.m. here in Michigan. The polls have only been open 2-1/2 hours. So how can you post all of this stuff about how the primary turned out? If you're speculating, it sure doesn't seem so in your post.
Or do you have a crystal ball?
Sheesh!

10. So, you're basing this brilliant deduction on results that haven't even come in yet? |

More crystal ball politicking. By the way, the polls disagree with your assertion: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/mi/michigan_democratic_primary-238.htmlI doubt that "uncommitted" is suddenly going to make up a 20-30 point deficit.

16. People from the future shouldn't tell us how the election is going to turn out. |
|
It's not fair for the rest of us who live in the present.
