Earlier this evening Chris Matthews was talking about How Romney, McCain and Huckabee were all campaigning with their wives.

He said, "I guess this is the warm 'n fuzzy part of the campaign."

I was listening from the next room, and what I heard was:

"Romney, McCain and Huckabee are campaigning with their wives. I guess this is the mormon fundy part of the campaign.

2. Well, here's when you've had too many football stories:

There was a story on the evening news about the company that makes the foam cheesheads that Green Bay Packers fans wear to the games. The company was not able to keep up with the demand, that was basically the story. My Mom, who is 89 and smart, but not much of a football fan, asked me, "are those what the Green Bay Packers wear?"
