For Obama and Clinton supporters - how will they encourage anti-trust prosecutions? |
|
I just found out all the "fancy" department stores in my neck of the woods, were swallowed up by 1 company. How will Obama and Clinton take care of this HUGE corporate problem so it doesn't happen?

3. Huh? The corporate problem that all companies end up purchased by 1 or 2 or 3 mass companies.... |
|
... allowing no competition. How will they encourage the use of anti-trust laws (or pass new anti-trust laws) to break up and to disallow these mergers that damage our middle class economy, while enriching the economy of the rich?

7. That's the person I want for my president too. And the person I DO NOT want for president..... |
|
... is whoever believes that they should not be broken up, and/or will do nothing to break them up.

12. Ralph Nader can kiss my @#$. I used to admire him. He's responsible for people suffering ... |
|
... for 8 years under this piece of crap in the White House. AS far as I'm concerned, Ralph Nader stopped existing when he became a selfish sob more willing to let the old and helpless suffer 8 years under Bush, than to let a somewhat centrist Democrat go to the White House.

11. K&R because it's a great question |
|
If I were president, I'd start by not renewing their government contracts.
The government is one of the largest purchasers of goods and services in the country. If a company is using anticompetitive practices to an unfair advantage, I'd refuse to renew its contracts or buy any more goods from it.
Sometimes, that's the only language they'll understand.
