When Obama says major endorsee it better be Gore |
|
then I heard it is Leahy....Yawn. Come on, is this the best he can do? I hate it when political campaigns make a big toodo and then when the surprise is unveiled it turns out to be less than spectacular.

7. Leahy is a long time D and a smart man |
|
this was a good endorsement for Obama while he is trying to shore up core D support. Hillary needs to get a few Senators on board.

Gore won't endorse until we have a clear nominee. Probably around the convention. nt |

8. Candidates use pre-announcements to get press... |
|
Which is then followed up the announcement itself and the post-announcement critique ~ what a game it all is!

"If you don't comply with the subpoenas they're won't be any hearings on AG Mukasey, unless of course Schumer and Feinstein whine about it, then we'll hold hearings regardless, and the matter is now dropped" Senator Leahy?
I'm not voting for Clinton, but this endorsement does not endear me to Obama.

13. The whole endorsement thing makes me laugh |
|
As if the notion that if some important person is choosing a candidate I should do the same then! Especially when both camps have lots of important people endorsing one or the other. So which group of important people should I listen to? :D
I have an idea, I'll listen to my own counsel.

19. Its not that...Remember I don't support Hillary or Obama |
|
So I could care less, I just think the entire endorsement thing is over-rated by a large degree, and feels downright insulting to people's intelligence. I know why they do it, would probably do it myself if I were in their shoes but its never going to matter to me.
Now if the one of the main candidates on our side sent me a check for $50,000 that might really force me to endorse the one who sends the money. :D
