HILLARY CLINTON WINS NEVADA will be the headline in every Sunday paper tomorrow |
|
Edited on Sat Jan-19-08 08:47 PM by ruggerson
That's the fact.
You can argue about the arcane way that Nevada chooses its delegates, but reality is reality.
And the country respects gracious losers, not people who chronically try to discredit hard fought, honest victories with cries of election fraud or delegate counts or whatever other excuse of the day promulgated by various biased observers.
Hillary and Barack and John are on to the next contest: South Carolina.
Barack is well positioned there and it will be another chance for our candidates to explain to voters their vision of the future of the country. And another chance for all of us to realize how far superior our THREE finalists are to anyone the Republicans have to offer.

Hillary obviously took the popular vote but according to CNN Obama actually received one more delegate than Clinton. This is a really tight race. Personally I think the best ticket the Democrats could field would be Clinton/Obama. Clinton as President because Obama being the younger would then be in position for 8 years after Clinton served her 8 years. Okay 16 years may be a little optimistic but it would sure be nice after 8 years of total incompetence.

5. Actually, I think the headline is more likely to be.... |
|
CLINTON AND MCCAIN WIN BIG PRIMARY TESTS.
And to me, that's a little depressing.

6. because she DID win. Even if Obama scores the delegates, it isnt a real victory (yet) |
|
If the state's convention or whatever ended up giving it to him after all is said and done, then it would be a win.
But she won this.

10. actually the headline will likely be "How did Obama get more NV delegates?" |
|
That is much more interesting and will sell more papers.
You know I speak the Truth.

12. your looking at the headlines right now, most probably written before the delegate count was known |

Things will change by tomorrow morning when the dust has cleared, and it is evident that Obama actually walked away with the most delegates.

14. Newspaper like to report facts... |
|
Then again our media is screwed up and all about selling instead of reporting the truth. So you are probably right.
