Will Bill Clinton Let Hillary Stand on Her Own?
Big topic of discussion on the Sunday morning shows.

Thus far, the consensus is "no", that Bill would inject himself into her campaign and Presidency no matter what. That he, effectively, cannot be controlled.

Does Bill Clinton grabbing the headlines help or hurt Hillary?
In the primaries?
In a general election?

Would Bill Clinton make himself the unofficial Vice President if Hillary were to be elected?

Your thoughts?

5. How is this a big issue for Edwards's campaign? That's the only campaign that gets my hard earned
money.

Or, do you means "Democrats" of which you aren't one? MKJ

3. Actually, I didn't watch Peggy Noonan today. So no, sorry.
Not channeling her.

It was discussed with Chris Matthews, Face the Nation and This Week. The consensus was the same for each.

She mentioned it too? I guess that makes all the big shows then. Thanks!

6. 60% of Hillary's voters prefer Bill
Obama is running against Bill and the campaign needs to start going after HIS policies that got us where we are today.

7. Wow! I didn't see that. I cut-and-pasted it in this post so others can see it.
If Bill Clinton were eligible to run for a third term and had been on the ballot today, who would you have voted for:
Category % Total Biden Clinton Dodd Edwards Gravel Kucinich Obama Richardson
My candidate 61 - 27 - 19 0 1 47 5
Bill Clinton 37 - 58 0 14 - 1 2 4

Would that be considered a "mandate"? Seriously, does that justify him injecting himself into her campaign and presidency?

8. The pundits fear and loathe Big Dog and want him to go away.
Small wonder they are viewing his participation with such feigned alarm. If ANYBODY was helping HRC, the MSM would hate and criticize them. But the fact that it is Clinton himself that is helping her really sticks in their craws.

The oligarchy (which includes the corporate media) hates the Clintons viscerally and will do and say all they can to sabatoge her campaign.

10. Hillary is standing very well on her own two feet thank you very much...
Bill, despite his status as 'former president' is pretty much doing what most husbands would do were their wives running for a top slot.

Please note that it is Hillary's voice that is almost gone...Bill's sounds pretty normal.

Great gobs of fire...I've never seen Matthews quoted so much on any DU board. Or Huffington or the rest of the GOP bimbos of either persuasion. Matthews hasn't been worth spit for years.

11. You are kidding, right?
The pundits in the MSM made their gold during the Clinton years. How do you think we ended up with so many of them varmints. The scandals and impeachment made them who they are. And, as for the oligarchy, it provided circus to keep the masses enthralled. Hate the Clintons? Hell, no. That's money in the bank for them.

14. HRC getting elected = Bill Clinton's third term
Hillary can't even fight her own battles, always letting her husband fight them for her. Some "feminist"! Even Al Gore, who had every reason to have Bill Clinton help him during the 2000 campaign, chose to stand on his own two feet...something HRC needs to do. Until then, she's neither a true feminist or a worthy contender for the presidency; she's just a legal loophole for Bill to become president again.

15. LOL
Strange, many of the republicans I know seem to believe Hillary wears the pants in that relationship and she was the "de facto" president during Bill's time in office.

I have to laugh at both sets of B.S.

16. OMG, this is embarrassing to see here on DU. Right, she won't "preside" she'll just channel Bill.
This is doubly embarrassing to see from an Edwards supporter. MKJ
