Prepare for a McCain-Lieberman ticket |
|
Can a Hillary-DLCbot ticket beat McCain-Lieberman? McCain will be strong in places like NH, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Mexico, Colorado, Florida etc (not to mention solid in all the traditional GOP strongholds). It will be a hard ticket to stop. McCain-Lieberman vs. Hillary-DLCbot flips purple states in the GOP's favor. This alone is enough of a reason to vote Obama--he can unite the country and beat the GOP.

If McCain gets the nomination they'll have a Good Ole Boy for his running mate.

11. Fundies love the Joe-ster |
|
He "stood up" to the Democrats and ran/won as an indy. They were all having Jomentum parties when he won Conneticut as an I.
They think he is "waking up to their cause" and "seeing the light", etc etc etc.
Seriously. They would get behind him in droves.
Now, the Ron Paul people are obviously another story...

Joe would help McCain in a flippable NE state like NH too, and with south Florida's jewish vote (where Hillary is strong).

a lot of good he did in Florida last time he was on a ticket-I PRAY he is on the ticket with McCain-then after he helps Straight Talk lose then maybe we'll have a senate majority leader with some balls who will strip him of his committee leadership roles-Dodd would do it-Reid? no balls

16. If he were made the VP nominee |
|
... the Senate would be Republican controlled the same day.
I do not see that happening.
If McCain is the Repubublican nominee, he will not waste his VP choice on "bipartisanship." That is what Cabinet positions are for. If he is the nominee, he will shore up his base. Either Thompson or Huck. Probably Thompson since he supported him in 2000 and is currently running block against Mittens and Huck for McCain right now.

9. More likely McCain-Romney |
|
The GOP base seems okay with him being a Mormon (dont have much to choose from this year...), and he's both a younger guy thats malleable to most anything the party powers wants him to be (due to his lack of a spine...), plus he brings with him a lot of funding.
And no, Hillary's negatives probably wont overcome the media's love of McCain.
