In a smaller field, Joe Biden would be have been a much more appealing candidate. Sticking to issues and offering a contrast to fighting and inexperience. He may have another chance yet: The Convention. If things get so out-of-hand that the potential nominee looks doomed, the delegates would be irresponsible not to turn to an electable, respected Democrat.
