Under Clinton, Reagan's Policies Of Media Consolidation, Govt. Privatization, Bank Deregulation |

Outsourcing of jobs grew or continued apace. The massive amounts money thrown at the military budget increased as Clinton gave more than they asked for in an attempt to look tough on defense (it really helped, didn't it, lol!).
Oh, Under Clinton the massive gap between the rich and poor also grew or continued apace. Corporate executive pay grew. Cars and houses got bigger as SUV's and McMansinos became the rule. Not to mention no attempt to increase fuel economy or really embrace Green Technology, initiatives that a POTUS is in a good position to champion.
Under Clinton and his crony McCauliffe, the Democratic party continued to rot or remain non-existent in many states. It took Dean to implement the 50 State Strategy. And the Clintons fought him and are probably salivating at the chance to get rid of him in 09.
Under Clinton and McCauliffe, election fraud by the GOP became an accepted and systematic strategy to an ever greater extent. McCauliffe did NOTHING to investigate or challenge the electronic voting debacle. Having no real Democratic Party structure in some states left them ripe for election fraud with no party to back up challengers. At least Dean is aware and started the ball rolling.
On the positive side, Clinton staffed government positions with competent professionals. And he drew the debt down. Added on edit, he did have something of an environmental awareness but IMO Al Gore might have had some influence there.
And wasn't he lucky to preside during the Tech Bubble of the 90's?
Under Clinton the Left either became or remained demoralized and marginalized.

5. It's ironic Hillary's now running attack ads cause Obama dared say Reagan had a lasting influence |
|
Obama should point out how much Clinton himself was influenced by GOP policies AND tactics.
