Bill Clinton: "They're feeding you this (shit) because they know it's what you want to cover" |
|
He said that to a reporter. Said he was just in a meeting with voters and not one soul was talking racial division.

3. That's true. Nobody cares about this racial shit except for reporters and those |

who find political advantage in manipulating them.

9. ...yes. That does not conflict. |

Some operatives are feeding reporters shit, because the operatives know it's what reporters want to cover.

12. He said "stuff"...not shit.. |
|
Edited on Wed Jan-23-08 04:25 PM by Tellurian
He also mentioned, "did you noticed not one of the people here asked me about any of the "stuff" you're interested in?" "The people of SC are interested in their lives and how we can make it better, John Edwards, was right about that!"
Bill gave the media a good tongue lashing, a lashing they well deserved for keeping this argument between the Obama Campaign and the Clinton Campaign going. He's Right! I've had CNN on for 2 days..They...at least are reporting it the way it IS! I'm not a fan of Tweetys!

13. Take up the quotation problems with the OP. |
|
Of course, he does have a record of unapologetically posting bullshit (I'd love to get a count on the number of locked threads he's started), so good luck with that.

Bill is remarkable. No wonder so many love him the best.

6. So the Clinton campaign is now blaming the race issue on the media? |
|
Edited on Wed Jan-23-08 04:18 PM by Skwmom
What a piece of work.
On edit: who is he referring to? Trying to spin it that the Clintons didn't start the race issue is not going to work.

He needs to knock on a few more doors and go to a few more churches. Tonight is Bible study night in a lot of churches, they'll be a few people there.

18. The word "they" in his statement includes him. How clever. |
|
Part of the Clinton strategy is to paint Obama as the 'black' candidate who can't get other groups to vote for him; so making a statement like this, which implies the Clinton campaign's hands are clean, is actually quite funny.

24. Y'all might want to ignore Obama's (d) punjab smear against Hillary from last June. |
|
But let me clue you in: President Clinton didn't ignore it, and he will remind you Obama supporters who came first with the hate smear-tonight. And you and Obama will not thinks it's pretty.
And President Clinton hasn't even taken off his gloves.
