This may sound heretical, but I wish Barack would attack HRC as sharply as Romney did tonight |
|
Edited on Thu Jan-24-08 11:24 PM by iconocrastic
Maybe that's just not Barack's style, and I respect that. But I would prefer the Clintons not get the choice of weapons, and then unilaterally half-disarm myself.

11. Of course you don't want HRC to be attacked. This thread is for her rival. |
|
And she has no problem extending her claws, does she?

15. Oh, to the contrary: I love when HRC gets attacked. It always improves her vote margin. |
|
What seems a sad thing to me is for DUers to quote Ann Coulter. What a sign of desperation.

9. Yes, that's the other side of the coin. |
|
I respect the attitude as a mark of personal ethics and style. Trouble is, when you're in a fight you're in a fight and it's necessary to win. The Clintons certainly have no qualms about trying to draw blood.

13. I believe that Barack is stronger than he appears |
|
Edited on Thu Jan-24-08 11:25 PM by iconocrastic
But IF it appears he can't stand up to HRC, people will think exactly as written above, that he might be unable to stand up to the Thugs. That's why I wish he would attack more sharply. In a championship basketball game (choose your analogy) there will be tough competition. It's a fight, and there are only votes to be counted, not points awarded for style.

12. Romney lied. You want Obama to lie? |
|
Romney said Hillary wanted us to just leave. That's a lie. Hillary is the one who said, among other things, she was concerned about leaving Iraqi people who helped us all these years.
In other words, Hillary believes in a planned withdrawal covering all the circumstances involved with such a departure. She has been reamed by Democrats for refusing to agree with a quick bug out.
