9. Classy?
Watch John Boy's mean spirited little performance in the last debate (the one where he knocked his glass of water all over the place like an idiot) before you lecture me about being classy.

16. If all Kerry supporters are like you...
I'm really not very excited about getting on board for November.

Please see post #5 and learn. The goal is to beat George Bush--not to get in some crying contest about the primaries. I hope the Kerry supporters with your pissy attitude can put all their pettiness aside and look toward embracing all newcomers for the future.

11. it's no wonder that
many Edwards, Dean, and DK supporters don't exactly embrace Kerry with some of the attitudes of his supporters around here.

13. We have actually been very restrained, as compared to the
vitriolic attacks made by Dean supporters.

Kucinich supporters are the classiest, unquestionably, followed by Clark supporters. Dean supporters? At least a good portion of them?

Downright disgraceful!

8. Zogby is funny
In his analysis of the poll he basically covers his you know what, plus he gives excuses for why he was so far off on Wisconsin:

Pollster John Zogby: “This race has tightened in the last day, and may tighten even more. As in many other states, Edwards has closed late and has even picked up considerable support among last minute deciders on primary day.

“Kerry had only a single digit lead in Monday’s one-day polling. Edwards appeared to have made some significant gains in Atlanta and in other metropolitan areas, while Kerry held on to a huge lead in the rural areas. Edwards also held on to big leads among Republicans and Independents.

Snip

“Kerry’s lead has narrowed from the previous two days. Zogby International polling generally goes until the day before the actual election to capture any late-breaking trends. Client budgeting and other factors led us to stop polling on Sunday afternoon in Wisconsin, thus missing the late breaking surge by Edwards in that state due to his Sunday debate performance, the Monday endorsements by the state’s two largest papers, and an ad buy of over $300,000 in the final days.

“I am confident that we have captured a late break here and would not be surprised by an even tighter showing on Tuesday.”

So basically Zogby can claim he was right if they essential tie in Georgia or if Kerry win by 20.

10. Zogby's polling in Wisconsin
Edited on Tue Mar-02-04 01:43 PM by Nicholas_J
Ended up being closest to the final result in the poll, calling the election a lot closer than the other polls in that state did.

Plus right now, according to the Atlanta news. Kerry is holding Edwards off in Georgia so far today.

15. Nobody was even in the ballpark for Wisconsin
actually the list Zogby gives (plus the unmentioned "intern scandal", and the fact that Kerry left Wisconsin for a campaign swing into Nevada) are all reasons that Edwards closed the gap IMO.

Edwards just doesn't have that list of items working for him this time.

17. Zogby was closest of all the polls
Kerry at 47 percent, rather than 40. Plus Zogby's polls were for registered democrats, not likely democratic voters. When adjusted for that, his polls were almost on the money in WIsconsin.
