Obama and his supporters and Hypocrisy
Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 09:06 PM by sunonmars
Ok lets ask some questions

1 : Why when Obama is single handedly accusing Hillary of starting the Iraq war is he accepting the endorsement and campaigning of John Kerry who voted the exact same way as Hillary did in the IWR vote.

2 : Obama has consistently voted to continue funding the Iraq war when he campaigned against doing so in the run up to his Senate election.

3 : He has said he was for single payer then he was against it. A yes/no again pattern emerging here.

4 : Obama supporters are calling Clinton disloyal to the Democratic Party for not respecting the parties restrictions on Michigan and Florida, yet same Supporters are also calling supporters to be disloyal and to not support the Democratic Party candidate should Hillary be the Nominee.

5 : Obama says he is for gay rights, yet surrounds himself with Rev McKlurkin and Rev Caldwell.

6 : Obama says he wants rid of lobbyists, yet his campaign team is full of them.

7 : Obama says every vote is paramount in Nevada but when Florida and Michigan is mentioned, he doesnt want to know.

8 : Obama says he takes a stand, yet has voted many times "present" or actually, yes no and present on the same issue.

9 : Obama says he is against the Iraq war in 2002 and then states in 2004 his position would have been the same as Bushes.

Can anyone clarify these for me please. I could go on but i suspect i'd be here a long time writing them.

Seriously pick a position so the rest of us have a clue.

4. This is why I support Lee Mercer Jr.
You know where he (all three) stands and what his positions are. He'll never let us down, and is, in fact already president.

6. I'm happy to help you get a clue.

1. Sure, how about Obama tells everyone who ever supported the war in Iraq that they can't vote for him. That would make sense.

3. This one is pretty funny because I've had Edwards supporters argue that Edwards was the candidate most likely to push for single-payer down the road one day. So shouldn't they be happy about Obama's statement? Go watch what Obama said then and now about single payer. It was never part of his platform but he thinks its not a bad idea. I see nothing wrong with that.

4. Supporters? Who exactly? Are you voting for a candidate or his supporters?

5. Obama says he is for gay rights and has a long history of supporting those rights, much more so than Edwards or Clinton.

6. "Full of them?" Link please.

7. Its silly to blame Obama for a decision that was beyond his control.

8. There have been many posts about that and I'm sure you'll ignore it if I post again.

Half your points are made up and weak stretches that have nothing to do with Obama.

18. Sure I did
How about you respond to my request for a link that Obama's campaign is "full of lobbysts." Here's your chance to prove you aren't totally full of shit. Not just one or two lobbyists here and there. But full of them. Link please.

Also, why don't you explain how point one makes sense. How does it make sense to say that Obama should turn away support from people who voted for the war? That's just dumb. Why would he do that? Why should he?

19. ok, now tell me you don't
work for the Clinton campaign.
:eyes:

This all sounds so tiringly familiar.

I don't trust Hillary, she lies, distorts, and is hell-bent on winning at ANY cost.

I don't want a president who is willing to do whatever it takes to get what THEY want.

We're coming to the end of the reign of one of those kind of personalities now.

I wish I didn't feel this way- but watching her twist, use, and distort truth, I can't believe what she says, without concrete proof.

that is sad.

Like he's going to publicly turn it down?
