Phony outrage over Kerry calling Bill Clinton out on his lies
Bill chooses to lie. No one has a God-given right to lie: not Bush, not Bill Clinton. Clinton chose to lie about Obama. He must expect that Obama and others will call him on it.

John Kerry was right, and yet the outrage, phony or twisted, is directed at Kerry. It implies that Kerry should respect Bill Clinton's right to lie.

Well, newsflash: Bill lies. (video)

Bill's statement:

President Clinton today admitted for the first time that he intentionally misled the government and the public about his relationship with Monica Lewinsky.

<...>

"I tried to walk a fine line between acting lawfully and testifying falsely, but I now recognize that I did not fully accomplish that goal and that certain of my responses to questions about Ms. Lewinsky were false," Clinton said in a written statement read by Press Secretary Jake Siewert.

In an agreement reached with Independent Counsel Robert Ray, Clinton agreed to pay a $25,000 fine and not to seek compensation for attorneys' fees he paid during the investigation. The agreement also ends a bid by the Arkansas Bar Association to disbar the president.

Bill lies. Get used to it!

Here is how Senator Kerry responded when put in a difficult situation, defending a president who lies

Bill's lies are part of his legacy. Trashing Kerry doesn't change that.

Clinton sought Kerry's endorsment for Hillary, which he didn't get because Kerry believes it's Obama's time.

That's not going to change.

2. Stay focused on BILL. Encourage the GOP to stay focused on him, too!
Leaves the Senator free to campaign and consolidate her base...

3. "Leaves the Senator free to campaign and consolidate her base..."
Which is exactly why Kerry is calling out Bill on his lies.

I get the feeling Hillary supporters expected no one to stand up to Bill.

Thank you Senator Kerry!

9. Didn't you see the CNN piece today on Obama lying about only 5 hours work for Rizko - CNN is
saying Obama didn't tell the whole truth and then went into all the work he did and the money Obama got from Rezko . the whole story of all the letters of recommendation Obama wrote for Rezko...and the slum buildings he obtained with those letters - CNN even said the housing dept said they'd never seen anyone declare bankruptcy on those buildings so fast.

Looked like an episode from the Sopranos. Prolly wehre Rezko got the idea but the showed Obama played along just like Tony's councilman did.

Anyway they really drove home that Obama lied when he said he only did 5 hours of work as a junior partner in the law firm .

keep CNN on, you'll see it.

16. "Hillary doesn't have a problem with it."
A. That's what you read into what she said? I heard her discuss how difficult it was for her.
B. If she doesn't currently "have a problem" and has moved past what happened over 10 years ago, GOOD.
C. I consider it none of our business anyway.

15. see, here is the problem : Clinton did not lie.
Clinton is exposing Obama on his inconsistencies. And Obama is using the George Bush tactic of suggesting that he is being picked on. It worked for Bush against Gore, of course he had the media backing him.
