John McCain, In Florida, Just Had A Very Awkward Moment

He was up on stage, he goes through some schpeil about FEMA, and then says 'I'm really happy to be here, yadda yadda yadda, and then lifts up a cue card and says 'I want to thank Deedee for letting me be here today, Deedee, the head of' - some Republican club, I forget the name. Then he says something really awkward:

"I thank you, Deedee, your reward will be given in Heaven, not here on Earth."

Uh. okay.

Anyone see that and was as confused as I was?
