I hope this belongs here , it seems the Dems are being split |
|
With all the bashing between Hillary and Obama including some liberal radio talk hosts jumping on the Obama band wagen like some sort of cult does it not seem to you that there is a real danger when the general elections come that supporters of either Obama or Hillary who's candidate fails will not vote at all ?
It could push the general election to Edwards which is fine with me .
Right before these primaries everyone was on the same page being that any Dem was a good choice . Then Biden and Richardson , Dodd , Gravel and now Kucinich have dropped out . We are left with the very three candidates who from the start were pushed most by the media .
It seems it's down to Hillary or Obama . And then there are those who feel for some odd reason Ron Paul is the greatest thing since sliced bread .
I heard Randi and Stephanie Miller and Big Edd bashing the hell out of Hillary , Randi and Miller have joined the cult following of Obama .
These TV debates with the questions asked are useless because they leave out all the important issues and ask questions to spark battles for viewing ratings .
We are going to end up screwing ourselves and wind up with McCain if this shit keeps up .
The fact that bush has lowered the bar so damn low presents a real problem where anyone looks better and the problem is people accept the better of two or three possibly more evils .
We have to look at all the problems we are faced with and find who is best qualified to deal with these and from these debates and battles I can't find one of them who fills the bill .
I still have a huge problem with Obama invoking Reagans spirits , I can't find a way to spin what he said , he did that all wrong and should have clarified what he meant rather than letting the shit hit the fan and then try to clean it up because for many this will not just go away . It's like telling a lie then worm out of it you lose trust , end of story . Grand speeches of hope but studdering in debates does not make me have any confidence here . Besides his voting present , what the hell is that ?
I have no clear idea of what Hillary can or will do since her voting record muddies the water and Edwards drags his religious views into the picture .
I think Bill Clinton and Obamas wife should stay out of this , it may help some .
Bottom line is , nothing is clear in an election that is said to be the most important of all , of course this was said about the 2006 midterm and look how well that turned out . Plus this has been going on for over a year and will be two years total before it's over , by this time people may be sick of all the names and completely confused on the issues and alot of issues will fade to black or perhaps finally be talked about , one problem , the msm will continue the lies and game to the end .
Now Iraq is out of the picture because of these elections and now the elections are pushed back a bit by this new money injection to the cut off arm of the economy .

1. When media types see bad behavior, they should call the |
|
candidate out.
Unfortunately, it makes it hard to support the person later if all the bad behavior works.

2. This was always about who the corps wanted |
|
Their spokespeople are HRC and Obama.
Will the Dems form some sort of split? I think so. There are a large number of Dems who think it's all right to throw out our principles in favor of "winning." The are a lot of angry progressives who feel their vote is being taken for granted.
This divide between the centerists and the progressives is going to become a split at some point.
Will it happen this election? Maybe.
You're worried about McCain winning? Be more worried about his VP.

3. I do suspect these are the corporate picks |
|
The people certainly did not choose them . Obama just came out of nowhere and I have suspicions about that .
I also wonder since all the focus is on these two Dems and a few Rupubs what will happen because congress is up this time too , their two years are up .
Hell we could end up with anything since we cannot have truth and transparency with anything .
We are sitting between smoke and mirrors and played as suckers .

He reminds me of *- he probably won't be making many of the decisions, just being the "face" of whoever owns him. Others have posted who his advisers are, and those picks worry me even more. Also, he's pandering to the fundies, and I like my toes unburnt as I am viewed as being a heretic in my area.
HRC, OTOH, has basically made it clear that she she views the corps as her base, and has even offered to foot the bill for a war with Iran.
What happened to our party?

5. I think our party was taken over |
|
For some reason I smell Rove . I read Lieberman was Obamas mentor , Lieberman switched to independant yet was voted in by a majority of repubs . That smells like Rove .
Is it possible that Obama is not a Dem at all ? What are his motives , what makes him think he can run this country and take us on a different course since he does not have the experience I want to see and his past is spotty , you can't find out much about him .
