1. FoxNews isn't an option for me...
and I can take Matthews better than Blitzer. I also usually like the MSNBC commentators better.

11. Don't tell but sometimes Matthews
amuses me. He gets so excited and just blurts things out.

He does love politics and often knows his political history.

Keith balances him well.

32. No Keith has started pulling dirty tricks
like Matthews. He kept bashing Clinton on the "FairyTale" scandal
but he never showed the entire speech.
Dan Abrams played the whole speech on his show, and it was completely
innocuous. All Clinton said was Obama's record is no less conservative
than Hillary.
I could not believe that Keith had deceived me all this time. I will never
watch him again.

30. At least they're honest about who they are
CNN and MSNBC are puppets of Coprorate Interests - and play DirtyBall
pretending to be open, then turning when they can do max damage.

They were neutral till this past week, and now the anti Clinton propaganda
has gone into full tilt.

Exactly like they did to Kerry with Swiftboaters.

5. I definitely will tonight starting at 6 p.m. since Keith will be with
David Gregory. They have a good rapport with each other, both professional and knowledgeable. No spitting or gushing, just good analysis. Sort of like the old Huntley/Brinkley match-up.

I remember watching it during Iowa and they had coverage of a caucus, but I don't remember there being coverage in New Hampshire or Nevada.

But I tend to go back and forth between MSNBC, FOx, and CNN. If C-Span has a local station's feed, I'll watch that as well.

He seems to be given the floor on occasion and he reluctantly cedes it to any others. I watch MSNBC but I wish I had a better alternative.

CNN down here is the world edition so they don't give full coverage. Unfortunately, I get to hear a lot more about the Republicans than I really want to.

31. MSNBC because of KO, but
Im getting sick of them because of Matthews, Scarboro, and Mika, who I loathe. Buchanan just makes me laugh now. I love Maddow, turned totally on Barnacle, love Crawford, but Keith is the big draw.

Thank GOD Tweety wont be on tonight.

33. When the cable channels start revealing the exit polling before
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 05:13 PM by BenDavid
and after the declared winner is announced and it shows obama with 20 to 30 percent of the white vote then the media is in the pockets of the obama campaign. Why would I say something like that? Well, what story would you if you were in the obama camp coming out of South Carolina, Obama wins in South Carolina with 70% of the black vote....Or obama wins with greater support from whites..

I would say obama would like the latter and this is why if the exit polling shows this, then the media drew out that 10% number out of the air and it being so low that anything higher would be a plus for obama......

Do I think this is what happened? I will not know until the exit polling happens but if it does then the media is exactly what I and many others have been calling them...MEDIAWHORES THAT SUPPORT OBAMA....but if the main headline that comes out of south carolina is obama wins with bigger margain of white votes YES....

39. I generally avoid CNN like the plague...
But I've been switching to it for primary/caucus nights. They have a much better on-screen vote tally than MSNBC and since the votes, not the talking heads, are what I'm interested in I've been watching CNN for election results.

Tonight, though, I'll probably switch back and forth. I like Keith :)

42. MSNBC - Matthews LOVES politics and it shows
I don't always agree with his commentary, but many times I do. With he and KO and a smattering of high profile guests who are always provocative (love 'em or hate 'em) MSNBC is the clear choice for me.
