People who were torn between Edwards, Kucinich & Sharpton must feel robbed |
|
Edwards was my choice (when Dean left) but I feel that he was wrong to act as if he was in the race for the long haul when he knew he wouldn't be. It's almost as if he was trying to keep the "Anybody-But-Kerrys" from voting for Kucinich and Sharpton.

1. That's kind of how I see all of the establishment candidates... |
|
Dick Gephardt picked up all of these union endorsements, the dropped out effectively cancelling there endorsements.
Howard Dean, "peace" candidate, propped up by the media just drops out like that.
I could go on. It seems that these candidates may have only been in the race to split up the liberal vote into manageable pieces.

Edwards did said he was staying in until the end.
I am not an Edwards supporter, but I'm pretty shocked at this development. Sounds like he had a deal with Kerry, but I don't know for sure, of course. I had hoped that he would get this to a brokered convention. Kind of trusted Edwards to pull through, and just thought he was joking with Kerry during the debates.
well, it sucks.
The Aristocracy has nearly won -- thanks to its dutiful subjects.

4. He WAS in it for the long haul... |
|
...if he could have won Georgia, Ohio, and Minnesota today, he would still be in.
Do you think he spent those millions of dollars on advertising because he was planning to drop out?
