I got something to say.
I have seen posters on this board post disgusting right wing bullshit talking points against Bill and Hillary Clinton. Going back to whitewater, Mark Rich and Monica Lewinsky and everyother republican swiftboat attack to use on one of our own great presidents to score cheap political points for your candidate.

I have seen posts that come from well established right wing web sites to support arguments against Bill and Hillary Clinton.

I have seen them called liars and racists and much more.

Much of this from long time du posters. I was shocked, let me tell ya. I couldn't believe what I was reading. And they would say, well it's the truth. I honestly couldn't believe that shit was going on here.

Now those same people who posted that disgusting, frothing at the mouth bullshit, are upset because others are now attacking Kennedy.

Well you opened the door. I hope you all are proud of yourselves.

You have succeeded in splitting us apart. And Obama supporters (not all, I know), I hate to tell you, but since you couldn't help yourselves from starting it, you are now going to have to live with others doing it back to you.

I wish this shit was never started. I never liked it and it was disgusting. You wanted to throw the baby out with the bath water and go down the filthy road you decided to drive down.

I don't know if this can be put back in the box, I wish it could, but I don't have much hope for that changing.

I know I won't be taking part in attacking Kennedy, I do respect the man and his accomplishments although what many post here is factually accurate about him, I don't want to go down that road, because I know that he has done so many good things for our party. I am able to seperate my disappointment in him endorsing someone other than Hillary. I only wish others had the same respect for some of our other party leaders, but I guess that just wasn't meant to be.

1. Couldn't help but make this an attack on Obama supporters, could you.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised. It actually sounded like a decent post until the 7th paragraph.

Let me tell you something about the slinging of piss and mud. Nobody does it like the child of political entitlement, who represents an outdated and losing version of our great Democratic Party, and who feels like her "due" may not come.

10. I was gonna say...
...as someone who leans heavily towards Obama, I've been called a 'cultist', a 'nonthinker' and I've been accused of just 'hopping on a bandwagon'. In criticizing Clinton I've been called a Rightwinger and stupid, so I don't want to hear anyone mewling about 'Bama supporters started it!'

2. Here's a particularly slimey attack on Ted Kennedy
"Ted, you're getting a little old now, and you've been a fighter for us before I don't know what's happening now, Ted get some spine and stand up to the Republicans."

4. Mr. Kennedy from your state based upon your ID has pointed out the Clinton's distortions
He was angered by their tactics.

Delusional I suppose?

The Clintons have used distortion and innuendo which is very unbefitting a former president and someone who aspires to be the president.

I'm sorry, but I disagree with you as to where the fault lies.

6. I think there are a lot of Repugs on this board pimping Obama. Drudge, Politico, Hutchins, Kristol.

are the most popular sources that they cite.

And, all the ABC threads? They reek of Repugs.

8. When you point one finger at someone else, you've got three pointing back at you.

And, um, a thumb. Pointing up. At God.

In all seriousness, it ain't just Obama-supporters. Go down the GDP page, count the negs posted by your camp.

Work on yourself first, and let your own posts be the example you want to see here. Others will follow.

9. It's nothing new. "Progressives" have been slamming the Clintons since
1992. The progressives on here are just doing what they've always done, except with the Obama supporters they have found a new audience. The progressive slams have a lot of impact because they come from the left & are as a rule pretty well thought out & pretty damn angry.

12. Could not have said it better.
The true to the left that hang out here are not much into subtlety nor nuance.
And fuck compromise.
As to having Obama supporters among the left here, only while holding their noses...

11. Your disappointment is warranted.
Some Obama supporters need to put a stop to the moles on their side.
