See if you agree with me
Criticizing things Bill Clinton says on the campaign trail in support of his wife = appropriate

Criticizing his tenure as president because he's supporting his wife = inappropriate

Criticizing Ted Kennedy's reasons for supporting Obama = appropriate

Calling him an old fossil to whom no one listens anymore because he supports Obama = inappropriate

That's how I feel about it, anyway.

I hate to see us tear apart our Dem leaders for the sake of partisanship. For the most part these are good men and women whom we happen to disagree with. Can we try to keep it somewhat civil, folks?

And if I've done it myself, I'm sorry.

1. Any checks and balances I had are gone.
If people want to denigrate Bill Clinton, then I'm going to speak my mind about it. I don't have any tolerance for fucking cannibals.

7. In turn, if people want to denigrate Kennedy
I'm going to speak my mind as well. The cannibalism goes both ways.

4. Hilary counts the tenure as president as HER experience
Consequently criticizing it is probably the most appropriate thing to do.

And if we don't think that all of them are good men and women, then we are obligated to say so.

5. I guess I'm talking about pulling out Monica
or on the other side, saying Kerry didn't earn his medals or bringing up Chappaquiddick on Teddy. That stuff should be out of bounds.

I wasn't too clear there, but esp. pulling out the kinds of things the right wing would say about these people and throwing it at them merely because they don't support your candidate sucks.

6. Oh I agree with that then
That stuff is ridiculous. When people post that sort of thing, I usually give them 2-3 chances and then zap them on ignore. Who needs it.
