It was rude, ungentlemanly and totally obnoxious.

Every five minutes we see some NonSense thread about Hillary did this, Hillary did that, Hillary looked cross-eyed at someone. So what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

If Hillary is going to be raked over the coals constantly, and Obama given BJ's in the media, I'll take handshakegate in lieu of some rational criticism of him as a candidate, which seems to never happen.

He should have shaken hands with BOTH of them.
It is the appropriate thing to do.

Obama need not shake hands with her. What's the point. She can't wait to get back on the trail to go lie about him again.
Hillary, save the phony "friendly" act. We can see through your little ploy.

26. She's a former first lady and is use to greeting people. It's the |
|
proper thing to do especially to Teddy. They have been friends for years. He spoke out for BO today and she made a point to show she's a lady who knows how to conduct herself. BO always acts like a spoiled little kid.

17. I'd say mostly it just shows his inexperience -- |
|
Today was his big Kennedy day - probably a little tired, but also exhausted by a good day for him, probably some JFK-dreamin' as he luxuriates in Kennedies and their praise. And he can't set the natural little irritations and whineages of a hard-fought campaign out of his mind when he's expected to.
Maybe thinking, today, "man, I really AM the next JFK" and then he runs across That Lady who might stop him, and he just gets a little pissed - why does she have to ruin my great day by coming over here? So he goes ahead and turns his back, and shits on his OWN good day. The AP pics are out, MSNBC is reporting on it, this story has legs, there's already a narrative in place (you're likeable ENOUGH) -- etc. etc.
Obama may end up having pissed away a couple extra percentage of the votes of the Tsunami Tuesday women today. THIS MAN IS NOT READY TO BE OUR CANDIDATE: him, last all the way to November? Not seeing it.

If your President, you have to shake hands with people everyday with people who are lying about you. That being said, again the argument is about something very superficial, and of no benefit to the American People.
Business as usual.

The economy is collapsing, thousands dead from war in Iraq, global warming is potentially threatening the exctinction of our species...
And the big story of the day is a HANDSHAKE (or lack of it)???

But it's funny watching these two groups beat each other over their heads again with another non-issue. It's a great laugh, the only problem is, it's at the expense of the American People.

|
some second hand contrived garbage, I'll be concerned.
Until then- I refuse to play the stupid american consumer.
I'm sick to death of people telling me what I know and see and feel.
The entire SOTU was a bunch of made up crap, telling me what "we" think/need/feel/want-
and 99 44/100% was utter bullshit.

30. Yes. It casts serious doubt on Obama's claim that he can "unite the country" and that he |
|
can "work with the Republicans" .... They will be infinitely more nasty than him than he perceives Hillary to be.
