4. He's the guy who won't join the fight
He's painting himself as the guy who won't get into battle. That's admirable, but it's not what we need in the GE.

I want someone who will figuratively rip off his shirt and jump in.

6. Why should Edward's get involved in petty bickering between the candidates?.
Cuo bono?

Edwards has got it right. This election is about the people. Health care. Jobs. College for our kids. Let's stay on focus.

13. Edwards WILL be a FIGHTER against the rethuglicons, he's saving his ammo for the RIGHT Target
Edwards could beat any repiglicon in the GE, and he has less scandals to deal with as Our Candidate.

I don't like the FACT Our Candidates are exposing each other their scandals.

That's AMMO for the RIGHT to Target us.

14. well he's never gonna get the chance
because he's not going to win the nomination, and rightly so. Running as the guy who's above it all is a losing strategy.

8. Yes he'll fight - but not over chickenshit bullshit handshakes.
Nice try.

Actually, lame try.

10. not about handshakes
his campaign stump speech now is how he's so far above squabbling.

Well, it sounds good and will likely win him votes - but it's not what I want in a candidate.

20. He's above the silly and petty squabbling between the empty suit and the empty pantsuit.
So are the rest of us.

He'll fight for US and our vital interests, not for Hillary's personal feelings. She can do that on her own.

so he isn't being smeared by the Clinton Machine.

18. He has been attacked
but he's not a whiner like Obama and Clinton. How many threads about the robo calls Clinton made against him in SC. One.

How many threads about Obama's whining that he's not getting fair play by the Jewish community. Too many to count.

How many comments on Clinton's tears. Too many to count.

Edwards just keeps on doing our business. Getting our problems out there. He's a winner, not a whiner.

17. The longer he stays in the race
the bigger his role will be. He says he's in it to the convention and I take him at his word.

I don't think he should jump into the fight.

It's lose/lose for him.

19. True. He's out there talking about the ISSUES and the other two...
...are busy snubbing each other at SOTUs and beating each other up in public.

It all makes for good media coverage (they swarm around that type of thing like flies on shit) but does it make for a good PRESIDENT?

I think NOT.

Pffft!
