Damn Craig Crawford is an ass and Pat Buchanan is Hillarys biggest fan |
|
WTF is going on here? Craig Crawford just said Obama was advertising in Florida but failed to mention that it was a national ad and wasn't against the rules. Geez, his Hillary shilling is so obvious, can't he at least try to hide it alittle? And Pat's obvious Hillary ass kissing makes me think hes on their payroll or something. Hes been kissing her ass for the past several weeks now. If Pats on your side, thats a problem.

"The evidence-free bias against the Clintons in the media borders on mental illness. If you try to be fair to the Clintons, if you try to be objective, if you try to ask, 'Where's the evidence of racism in the Clinton campaign?' you're accused of being a naïve shill for the Clintons... I really think it's a problem." -- Craig Crawford, Link

|
He was the ONLY Nixon insider who would not go along with Watergate.
He's plenty annoying. But sometimes he has real horse sense.
I think he sincerely realizes that Clinton is getting a raw deal from the media. And he knows he'll have plenty of time later on to say otherwise.

Also: Most of the partisans online are hyper-analyzing everything. People will vote the way they want to.

He has been drooling ever since she announced. Oh hell, long before that,
He is a dog with a bone. Sure she is going to win the nomination and sure that they can take her down in the general.
I hope he's wrong on the first point. I know he is wrong on the second.

16. Maybe I don't understand the Ad business very well, but when |
|
the company I worked for did TV ads, you paid for them by AREA! I never heard of a National Ad! If Barack's ad aired in Fl. that's campaigning, and SOMEBODY had to pay for those ads!
It's been a number of years since I was associated with the advertising business, so things my have changed, but SOMEBODY still had to pay for those ads there!!!

23. Obama is advertising in Florida |
|
You can try claiming that he is accidently advertising in Florida. You can claim that he is unavoidably advertising in Florida. You can claim that the networks made him advertize in Florida, or you can claim that there is nothing wrong with him advertising in Florida. But the simple fact remains, Obama IS advertising in Florida. There is nothing false or misleading about that statement.
The only "controversy" is over whether a national ad arrangement that results in over 6.5 million homes in Florida receiving Barack Obama's campaign ads constitutes campaigning in Florida, as defined by and prohibited by the pledge he signed against campaign activities inside of Florida. If Crawford said Obama was campaigning inside of Florida, I would say Crawford was correct and you would say he was wrong, but the fact that Obama is advertising inside of Florida is simply reporting the facts.

But he stated it sounding like Obama is breaking the rules. He isn't. He seemed to imply Obama was full blown advertising there, he isn't. Geez. Just like Crawford didn't have a problem with the "Jesse" comment, this dude is unbelieveable.

Obama made an end around the rules in his dirty campaign. He could have waited until after the Florida primary to do this. You don't see Edwards or Hillary running any ads in Florida.

34. OmG!! You were able to find someone not in a Ovama swoon |

Pat is not a Hilary Fan. Pat does understand how the men (who BTW left our party in droves)perceive things. They could never have made the Southern Strategy work had the emotions not been raw and they new just how to play to these raw emotions. Regan did the same during his first election. I am not saying all this is right. I am saying my party takes a dismissive attitude far too often. I have found in life there are two sides in a story. Very often it is misperceptions on each side which creates problems.
