Just saying....

No need to wait for the nominee to decide who gets seated. The SD's should feel free to go their own way prior any roll calls at the convention --- period.

All the candidates should have a right to earn, thats EARN delegates through the same rules, if not --- all bets (and commitments) should be off!

Clinton to Campaign in Florida

SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) — Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she was going to Florida to assure Democrats that "their voices are heard" and to underscore her commitment to seeing the state's delegation seated at the national convention.

Though the Democratic presidential candidates largely have heeded the national party's request that they not campaign publicly in Florida, Clinton said it's time to pay attention to voters there who are showing heavy interest in Tuesday's primary. Early voting is under way and drawing strong interest, she said.

"Hundreds of thousands of people have already voted in Florida and I want them to know I will be there to be part of what they have tried to do to make sure their voices are heard," Clinton said in Memphis, Tenn., before heading for Florida.

Clinton met with reporters as she campaigned in Tennessee, one of 22 states with primary contests on Feb. 5, and she sought to shift the focus from her lopsided loss to rival Barack Obama in the South Carolina primary on Saturday to the coming contests.

1. Super delegates can change their minds, they are not bound.

5. Because they've said they'll vote for her. But they don't have to.

Superdelegates can change their minds any time they want. They are not bound by any pledges or promises.

8. They may have voiced support of her but if momentum changes they are not required
to remain w her, they can deflect even at the last moment.

2. Superdelegates are free to go anywhere at anytime.
They aren't pledged.

4. First, like the other two said, a superdelegate pledge is meaningless anyway. Second...
I don't think this is a big deal. She's coming here after the Florida primary vote is over, so I don't think it's truly breaking the pledge. And for what it's worth, I just got back from the polls, where I voted for Obama.

7. You cannot break a pledge that is anti-voting rights....
Political parties cannot turn voting rights on and off at their political whim. The temper tantrum by the DLC is a disgrace that once more shows the world that we are a leading Democracy in name only.

10. I agree that the DLC is a disgrace, but they are not involved in this.
The DNC is.
