Hillary stood and clapped on the surge comment to applaud our troops
as she should have done. It is not their fault that we are in Iraq.

1. You're correct. It's partly Hillary's fault that they're in Iraq.

8. I know that she doesn't have the same views as my candidate.
You need to brace yourself to the fact that Clinton is for the Iraq war, check video of the speeches to Congress in the run up to the war and she is for an Iran conflict. These are documented in votes and video. She loves her some surge and I for one am disgusted by it. If she wants to show the troops some respect, bring them home. Peace, Kim

17. Not gonna buy it.
Nice to see here being stern and blame the Iraqis for not stepping up and the Rthugs for their lack of oversight but hey where is her responsibility for selling this war, one that Old Bush outlined in his book as a trap and potential disaster. Get real, how did some of us know that the war was wrong and she could not figure it out. I don't buy it for one minute.

19. I guess you would have to ask the majority of the Senate
the same question --they were fed information (lies) from the Bush administration. Information you and I did not have acsess to.

Even Obama was wise enough to admit he doesn't know how he would have voted if given the same information as the Senate.

10. She did sign the "Iraqi War Resolution"...
...but didn't you hear?

Hillary wasn't aware that the "Iraqi war Resolution was a vote for "war".

She thought it was a vote to subsidize falafel farmers.

5. It doesn't matter how we campaign sniipers see it. I matters how
the soldiers and their families see it. Half those Dems seated on their butts signed onto the IWR.

7. I can't read minds, so I have no idea why she was applauding.
But I do know this, anyone who actually believes the Surge/Escalation is working will not terminate our occupation of Iraq. We cannot elect anyone who falls for this load of nonsense.

12. Whether we like it or not, there are people who support this
war and want victory.

The GOP continue to paint Democrats as the Hate America Crowd
cut and runners . They say our Posiiton of ending the war
is waving the white flag of defeat.

Hilary understands if a Democrat is to win we cannot appear
to dismiss the troops.

15. "there are people who support this war and want victory"
Yeah, they're called the "31 percenters"...the dipshits that still believe in their Boy King and his Infallible War.

18. Give me a break ,no one is dismissing the troops.
Fail those that do not make certain that the troops have a good plan and good equipment. Those who don't wince at the stench of the lives lost. Those who must take the responsibility for this war. That would be Clinton in my book.

16. Hillary clapped the surge because she wants to say "the surge worked, now let's leave Iraq."
Obama wants to stay there indefinitely.
