and my ears started bleeding. It may be fine but if politics are that complicated i would just rather move to another country. :)

15. Interesting you should say this about being a football fan...
I get a sense that far too many people are taking the "Rah Team Yay Go!" mentality in this primary. Instead of voting their conscience as they should, so many are clamoring to get on the "winning team". I think this not only sucks out loud, but it points to the fact that far too many are ignorant in their social responsibilities where elections are concerned.

19. that's kinda what i was pointing out
to eager to "pounce" and "slam" the other team then take a long hard look at your own candidate and say, "i like some of the qualities, but others show that my candidate is fatally flawed." no one does that. Instead its "ohh ohh look at what she/he just did"

39. Yep!
Look at the "other team's fumbles" instead of looking closely at the issues and deciding which candidate more closely represents your ideals.

Sad, isn't it? Politics is NOT a team sport, fcol!

32. I think you nailed it...
Being on the "winning team" is a perfect explanation why the GOP was able to get so many people to vote against their self-interests for so long.

5. OK so the two points from that article is
a. the president cannot attack without approval from congress.
b. wes thinks hills vote for the IWR resolution was a good thing

So that article tells me nothing except that if anyone attacks iran its gonna be hillary.

9. here
a. "If the administration believes that any, any use of force against Iran is necessary the President must come to Congress to seek that authority."

b. I support Hillary in both these votes

I didn't see a whole lot more in that article about how she feels about iran

got any quotes saying "since they don't have nuclear weapons and no intentions of obtaining them I have no plans of attacking irae" or something to that nature.

11. She has never said she had plans to attack Iran
So why does she need to say she won't?

Should she also state all the other Countries she doesn't plan to attack?

I suppose the fact that Wes Clark supports Hillary's position and links to his StopIranWar.com website isn't clear enough for you?

13. well since the big question of this country is will we attack.
I think it would be a great position to take for her to say she wont. Especially after the IWR resolution.

your second point is silly.

What does wes clark have to do with hillaries position. I asked for her position on iran not wes clarks position on hillaries foreign policy.

so your answer is no, she has not stated she will not go to war with iran thank you.

I like Dennis's answer alot better "that's insane"

30. you gave me a link
to an article written by wes clark. and a link to a youtube video (im at work, cant hear audio) and you just can't come out and tell me that she does not want to go to war with iran. She is not bringing it up at all and the current administration if they don't attack iran before they leave are gonna leave america in a faceoff with iran and the only thing to do would be either say were attacking or we are backing off. She is not backing off and if she was not planning on doing anything she would be making this a huge issue.

short answer. If she can't say no she's not planning anything then their must be a reason for it. thanks.

35. The link I gave you
is of Hillary on Iran.

You asked for it --I gave it to you --and now you complain to me that you can't hear it?

She has said she is against pre-emptive War

She has said authorization for War MUST come from Congress, and requires full Congressional Approval

She has said she favors negotiation with Iran, but that she needs a "big stick"

She is for "stepped up diplomacy" not Military action in Iran.

http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/1007/Clinton_plays_defense_on_Iran.html

She has been saying this since her K/L vot and her position is unchanged. I see no reason for it to change.

I said you were OK, which meant you kept your meanness confined to a few threads in the lounge, and occasionally offered something worthwhile. Occasionally funny, once in awhile had a kind word.

Now you spread your nastiness everywhere with one-liners and emoticons, and you're ubiquitous.

41. Where would we be without the grammar and spelling police?
Don't we have more important things to slam each other about???

:hi:

My great-granny, who grew up in Victorian times, said it was impolite to point out the mistakes of others. She also said it was impolite to point out etiquette infractions. She would be none too happy with any of us right now.

For future reference, if you feel the need to correct someone's spelling or grammar, the polite way to go about that is to use that word or sentence again with the corrections in place. If the person is smart, they will pick up on it. If not, they aren't worth the bother anyway.

Of course, there are some assholes around here... let's try not to be like them!
