25. I don't see McCain winning
We beat him the same way Bill beat Dole.

You constantly compliment him, and thank him for his decades of service to the country within the military and then suggest that we need to move on to the future but thank those who helped so much in the past.

Easy win.

14. He has a 25 year congressional voting record
That's more than twice the time of Hillary and Obama have spent in the Senate.

Thousands of roll call votes. An opposition researcher's wet dream.

Bring up the immigration issue over and over and over again to fracture the GOP coalition, as it will remind them of amnesty John McCain.

And finally, make him Bush's heir apparent. If you like Bush, you'll love McCain. That memo must be hammered home over and over again.

15. Get him to tell us all about his Dreams of Un-ending War. Ask him questions about how he would
win the "War on Terror" by any means he wanted. And then ask him how we would pay for it.

17. Tie him to Bush
Show that embrace pic over and over again, and use the line "I did more than anyone else to get George Bush elected in 2004" in as many ads as you can.

19. I am sure some of the 90's Senate votes will be hard to defend...
the Defense Dept was asking for cuts in a lot of programs.

They used these votes against Kerry.

It is hard to elect Senators because their votes from the past are applied to the situation today. McCain winning will be to our advantage, I think, since it will level that playing field some.

24. Not with Barack - no experience - Obama, that's for sure
The guy has ONE federal campaign under his belt against certified right wing nut job Alan Keyes who couldn't get elected dog catcher in Illinois. We put up Obama, we lose. Simple as that. And I don't want to hear BS stories about national polls either. National polls are meaningless, even if people didn't lie like rugs to pollsters if they think it will make them look like a bigot.
