Clinton's alleged proposal for Obama to sit with Clinton at the SOTU might just be a fairy tale |
|
Obama strategist David Axelrod to The Page: “No such invitation ever came from Senator Clinton. Had made such a proposal, we would have adjusted our plans.”

1. Do you have reading problems? |

Leading Democrats wanted rivals to sit together for the sake of party unity.
Clinton was willing, but Obama chose to sit with newly-minted supporter Ted Kennedy.
Nowhere does it say that this was Hillary's proposal. It clearly says LEADING DEMOCRATS WANTED. CLINTON WAS WILLING. "Willing" means ready to go along with.
But somehow you twist this into Clinton is a liar? Are Obama people unable to accept anything but a pretty lie?

"No such invitation ever came from SENATOR CLINTON."
But no denial that there was an invitation. No one claimed that it DID come from Clinton. Talk about parsing!
