FOXNews.com: Transcript of Hillary's response to "snubgate"
Have at it, Hillbots and Obamaniacs:

...WALLACE: Finally, Senator Clinton, there was an incident last night at the State of the Union Address that's getting a little bit of attention. When you came into the hall — we put the picture up — you reached out. Senator Kennedy and Senator Obama were standing side by side. Senator Kennedy shook your hand. Senator Obama says that he was looking away to talk to somebody else. Some people are saying that he snubbed you. Do you feel that you were snubbed last night?

CLINTON: Well, Chris, I reached out my hand in friendship and unity, and my hand is still reaching out and I look forward to shaking his hand when I see him at the debate in California. But what's important here is that, you know, any differences between us as Democrats pale in comparison to the differences between us and the Republicans. And I think we'll have a unified Democratic Party. We will come together not only as a party but as a country in this election year. And I am confident that we're going to present a very strong case to the American people as to why Democrats should once again be in the White House....

5. Actually as an Obama supporter, I will give her props for a crafty
spin... make hay when the sun shines and all that...

It wasn't an honest response, but hey she and Obama are politicians.

What really can you expect out of her?

Unbelievable. I'm sorry people...all she had to do was say, I don't think he snubbed me...instead of the drivel and non answer she's giving.

Her hand is extended to Obama and she looks forward to shaking his hand very soon?

Omg! :eyes:

19. That is a bald lie. She did not reach out her hand to Obama.
She did not answer the question, and instead said she did something she simply didn't do.

I'm sick of her weaselly answers to everything. I hate her style of politics.

29. It was a lie.
subtleties matter more than anything in this campaign. Complete honesty matters. Hillary is crafting her answer to imply things that are simply not true.

9. Shameless Hillbots trying to get as much out of nothing.... Pictures have
already proved that Sen. Obama was talking to another member of the Senate at the time in question....

On substance and style Sen. Obama wins, hands down, every time. So, Clinton supporters only have these, nothing made up media "events" to try to claw back into the race.

imo

28. That response would not be truthful, though
This is the kind of thing that should give the Clinton wouldn't have a chance in the G.E. folks here something to reconsider. You may not like this style of politics, but as the coach of my New England Patriots likes to say, "it is what it is".

With that single, brief statement she made it clear that Obama's non-response was unprofessional without actually saying it, and then turns the focus onto the upcoming debates and then to how the true opponent in the end here is the Republican Party.

So like it or not, this is the craft and style that will be more than able to withstand and be able to counter-attack any Rovian ploys from the other side.
