The Debate tomorrow night is both their last chances and a rarity for us

The debate tomorrow is going to be a good one and one all of us should take very very seriously.

We are going to have a Debate tomorrow that is 1 on 1, this is unusual in a Democratic Primary. We have a chance to get to the heart of both these campaigns, i hope they don't waste it.

Obama vs Clinton

Now there are points i am going to be looking for tomorrow night that i think a majority of people watching will be looking for.

1 : Specifics :

I want to hear loud and clear what these candidates stand for, there is no excuse in a 1 on 1 open debate for being wishy washy. Sen.Obama has been accused of being short on the specifics, he absolutely must demonstrate this tomorrow night, the same for Sen. Clinton.

2 : How they handle themselves in a debate :

I am interested to see how Sen Obama will hold up from what I am sure will be a strong debate performance from Sen Clinton. They must equally show they will be able to demonstrate they will be able to handle the RW attack machine.

3 : Condescending attacks :

This needs to be watched by both candidates. Recent polls have said Both Clinton and Obama attack unfairly in equal measure. This will be watched carefully tomorrow night.

4 : Cockiness :

They must also be careful not to give off an aura of "I'm the winner" its a big turn off. Humility goes a long way.

5 : World Leadership

Demonstrate clearly what they are going to do in the WH, not just on domestic issues but on Foreign, terrorism and leadership.

I for one am looking forward to this, its rare to get to see this.

1. Yes, I agree
This will be an important debate, and if they want my vote, they better do a good job or not "playing" it safe, but actaully getting some substance in their stand on things. I, like you, want som answers to "how" they are going to make the changes that we need. Attacks on each other will not work for me, and as you said, I want some "leadership" shown to me. The one that can take the lead, and lay out a plan for me on how they will take this country back, will get my attention.

3. It's going to be strange seeing only two people up on that stage. And it will
be interesting to see the dynamic between the two at this point.

I'm uncommitted -- I'll be paying attention.

5. It will be interesting to see Obama

I'm not sure he can handle Hillary, he's irritated with her i think, if he lets that come through it could be fatal.

One thing about Hillary, you never know you she's nailed you until about 2 minutes later when you've realised, she's hung you with your own belt and your dangling.
