I'm on an "unsubscribe" binge

For years my mailbox has been filled with emails from various political groups.

I listened to John Edwards speech. I cried. Now I am unsubscribing to many lists. Word to the wise - If you are a list owner, don't hit me with "Edwards is gone, support Obama" messages today. That was PDA's mistake. DSCC (which I only kept so I could yell at Senators for siding with Bush) hit me wrong today. I'm off that list.

Send me anything today and I shall unsubscribe. I am damned mad at the American lemmings going off the cliff - Rethug AND Dem - and with the demise of the Edwards candidacy, I'm on a mission to stop caring.

So far I've sent rejections to Carville (DSCC) the DNC and the DCCC, as well as my state Democratic Party. What a liberating feeling! :woohoo:

2. I know how you feel.

So far, I've booted Reid, Kerry, Kennedy, and a couple of others. I always tell them why if there's a space for it, and if there isn't, I go to their site and E-mail them.

I'm FED UP with the spineless Democrats who REFUSE to do the right thing.

They're either LAZY, CORRUPT, or IGNORANT. But they surely aren't doing their job. How different would America be today if our Dems in Congress stood up to those who are breaking the law and violating the Constitution.

In short, if they'd just do their jobs, the landscape in America would look very different today. They are a pathetic lot (with a few exceptions, of course.)

4. Booted Kennedy yesterday, too

I always tell them why, too. The last good Dem candidate just left the building. I'm outta here, too. (Well, not out of DU. I need too much support from fellow Edwards supporters right now!)

3. I'm Doing The Very Same Thing... But I Had Already Unsubscribed From

DSCC, AND DCCC some time ago! And I have stopped caring too. But I will "care" for those less fortunate in my community. Volunteer what time I can.
