I voted for Hillary Clinton today |
|
We got to vote today due to Mardi Gras falling on next Tuesday. Anyway, I live in a very, very red county (80% went for shrub) but there sure were an awfull lot of dems voting today.

6. Good for you Emily and here is a lil' something that should make |
|
you feel good. Emily, last night in a race where the Democratic votes didn't count and there were no delegates at stake, Hillary Clinton got the most votes of any candidate running in either party. McCain came in second, Romney came in third, and Obama came on forth. Edwards, who came in seventh, was beaten by both Guliani and Mike Huckabee.
Although the pundits and obama supporters in all day tried their best to write off the Clinton win in Florida as a beauty contest,I can't help but to think that when a candidate who didn't campaign in the state at all comes in first ahead of all the Republicans who have been campaigning hard there, that is too significant to ignore. And it's an even bigger victory because the Democrats who voted for Hillary knew their vote didn't even count.
So if the Democrats don't blow it by electing Obama I think this is an indication that Hillary would win by a landslide in the general election.
Again, I thank you

I've decided there is no point in voting in the primary. My candidates have both dropped out.

I'm just kidding. I wish my state had a primary that mattered in the least. Congrats on voting your conscience.

We have a very old rich Mardi Gras tradition and everything shuts down fat Tuesday.
We (dems) wont take Alabama in the GE but that never stops us from trying, maybe one day.
