I'm an Edwards supporter in mourning today.
I felt like he got completely screwed over by the media. They shoved him out of the picture every time they could. They acted as if the race was a two-person race from the beginning. Eight years ago, the media decided they liked Bush better than Gore and enabled him, and this year, the big story they wanted to play up was Obama vs. Clinton. I'm so tired of the media playing kingmaker. I'm tired of people like Chris Matthews dictating who is and isn't a viable candidate. I'm tired beyond belief of the talking hairdos. But more than anything else, I'm tired of the media going easy on Rebublicans. They've done it since 1980.

Of course, I will vote Democratic in the general election. No matter who wins. I have no doubt that Clinton or Obama is one hell of a lot better for the country than McCain or Romney. None whatsoever. But on Tuesday, I'm voting for John Edwards.

3. I'm sorry you're hurting...

It is very hard when your candidate is out of the race.

The stakes are so high this year, and that makes it even more difficult.

When I finally realized that Gore wasn't running, I cried. I hoped that
he would. It took me a while to get over it. It really was like moving
on from a love affair!

I took some time to re-group---and then I researched the candidates. I
discovered that there was a candidate I really did like.

It's hard for Edwards supporter, I'm sure--because this primary season
is going at warp speed. It doesn't feel like there's time to grieve.

However, you take some time. Maybe, when you're ready, you can
take a second look at Obama and Hillary and find that you could
support one of them.

We haven't heard the last of Edwards, and I'm sure that his coming
words will do a great deal to heal his supporters and help them to
move forward.

Take care--- :)

5. I'm disillusioned and DONE
This was all about making history for the Dems and "we the people" were sold out by our own party and aided/abetted by corporate media.

I've looked behind the curtain, now I'm going back to Kansas.

7. I wanted him in until the convention...
I haven't made a choice yet—and will probably wait until the general, but Edwards seemed to straddle the gulf between Clinton and Obama.

He had the “experience” while also having the progressive “chops”.

The media sh*t on him because they weren't willing to keep an eye on three candidates. They were lazy...and their laziness cost us all.

I feel for his supporters and staffers.

Grieve. Vent. Rage. But when the time comes, keep fighting for what he stood for.
