When answering a question or concern about YOUR candidate

It is not acceptable debate form to retort "BUT Hillary/Obama did it" or "What did Hillary/Obama do" or "Oh it was okay when Hillary/Obama did it".
Forget the other candidate exists...if someone is asking a question about YOUR candidate, it is very likely they are only vetting yours at this point in time and has either ruled out the other one or hasn't got to the process on the other one.
Giving excuses and pointing fingers will NOT win the hearts of minds of potential supporters of your candidate.
Answer honestly...even if there is something bad. Answer honestly. If we cannot cull the bad from the good of our own candidates and deal with it, then we really aren't any better than blind republican bots.
Nobody at this juncture expects a perfect candidate so please don't try to sell yours as being such.
