Hillary Rodham Clinton said of gay marriage equality that - compared to the Civil Rights Movement (which, apparently she views as a separate issue) - "this has not been a long-term struggle yet."

The statement was videotaped, folks, and she knew she was on camera. Applying Hillary Rodham Clinton's logic - such as it is - the African-American "first" should precede the (wrong) woman "first," as (relatively speaking), women's equality "has not been a long-term struggle yet."

She's not the only one who can split hairs.
