Make no mistake, in this historic year, in this historic campaign, the Massachusetts Presidential primary will help make history on February 5th’s Super Tuesday.
So, no matter whom you support, I hope you’ll get out and vote next Tuesday.
But if, like Ted Kennedy and Deval Patrick and me, you support Barack Obama, there are plenty of ways to help his campaign in the next few days. If you’re in Boston, there will be a big Boston Obama organization meeting tonight in the Morse auditorium of Boston University. Governor Patrick and Joe Kennedy will be there, and the night will include a big cell phone-banking session and get-out-the-vote training session. It begins at 6:30; the closest T stop is the Bladford St station on the Green Line (B line to Boston College). It’s just west of Kenmore Square. If you have a moment to RSVP, you can do so here:
http://my.barackobama.com/page/event/detail/4vty4. And if you’re not in the Boston area, please contact the Obama offices at 617-981-0642, visit
http://ma.barackobama.com, or email ma@barackobama.com to find out how you can help.
And if you’re not an Obama supporter, please contact the campaign of your choice. Getting involved with the democratic process is a great way to bring about the change you seek. And, you know what else? It’s a lot of fun.
Thanks,
John Kerry
