Could Howard Dean fit into a Kerry Cabinet ? |
|
What would be the ideal position for him? Where would he be the most benefit to the most people? In my opinion, his expertise and life experiences lie in the medical arena and he could be utilized most effectively as Secretary of HEW or whatever they call it now...:)
However, I know many of his supporters think he should be VP but that would be a downgrade for him, in respect to skills and expertise, in my opinion. Although it might be a good appointment for uniting the Party, it is unlikely that Kerry would pick Dean in his Cabinet. Who disagrees?

3. he will not be vice president |
|
for the major reason is that a Massachusetts/Vt ticket will not happen. Kerry will either pick someone from the MW or South I predict. I would love Dean on the ticket but I'm a realist enough to understand it is not likely.
As for the cabinet--I think he would be a wonderful HHS Seecretary with his background and what he did in Vermont.

4. Dean as HHS Secretary. |
|
Perfect for him. And he could spearhead health care reform in the Kerry Adminstration.

5. Dean has no place in a cabinet or as VP with Kerry. |
|
It should not be that way. He knows it, too.

6. Two positions come to mind: |
|
1. HHS Secretay -- he's got the resume for it
2. Democratic National Committee Chairman -- he's go the cojones for it.

Dean supposedly isn't even computer literate (well, not to the degree that he could thinkup Meetups).
