I just saw a McCain ad on my teevee machine.
:puke:

It was totally the GOP party line. Social conservative. Lower taxes. Support the "success" in Iraq.

Bleh...

4. It's obvious from the ad that he's trying hard to pander to that base,
emphasizing his "conservative" credentials.

2. If that's "success", I'd hate to see what failure looks like (nt)

3. I'd like to know what the difference is between "big government" or
government that is large enough to do the job, vs "small government" that doles out contracts to friends and family worth twice what government employees would do do the job for... actually I know the difference. Government employees aren't beholden to any particular party for the wages they earn. Cronies who are given nobid contracts to do either the government's work or the military's work most certainly are going to donate like the dickens to their friends who awarded them the nobids. It's called corruption people and this is the example we hold out to the rest of the world, as if they can't see what we are up to half of the time.

5. Was that a different one than the one where he's running to be
"Commander in Chief"?

Jeebus christ! The main job is supposed to be President, you dumb fuck! The CiC title applies only regarding the military.
