2. I have said to myself that if I hear him say that one more time, he will not have my vote. It is |

a really petty and divisive thing to say.

8. That is bull shit. I am voting for hillary in the Primary, and I will vote for whomever the |
|
nominee is, hopefully it is Hillary.
But if he wants to go down this track, there may be consequences.

4. There is a good possibility that McCain will get many of the HRC |
|
votes . Often the Media and Activists do not understand the American people and do not even make an effort to try.
The New Hampshire Primary and John McCain rising from the dead should have been a message but they are intent on ramming things down Americas" throat. They therefore do not read the signs.

And I don't agree with it.
The Democratic candidate will get my vote in November. Bet on it.

17. I disagree HRC supporters will vote McCain |
|
If that were the case they are not true democrats. I will say what will be the deciding vote is the INDEPENDENT. And if folks haven't noticed they are voting by a huge margin for the democrats.

9. INDEPENDENTS are the key to victory in November |
|
Senator Obama is stating the fact that he does not have control or hold sway over who votes for him in these open primaries. In nearly every contested caucus and primary Senator Clinton out polls Senator Obama among Democratic party regulars. Senator Obama's strength is among first-time voters, independents and cross-over Republicans. The Republican base will fall in line (as they are now behind Senator McCain). Our party regulars will get behind our nominee, regardless of whether that person is Senator Clinton or Senator Obama.
It will be the swath of the demographic that is Senator Obama's strength that will decide who wins the White House. This same demographic shows affinity for Senator McCain, as it has shown in the past for Ross Perot, and Ronald Reagan. It's support put RapMaster Ronnie over the top in 1980 and 1984 and it's support for Perot in 1992 and 1996 allowed Bill Clinton to slide past his Republican competition.
I live in a county that has been dominated by the Republican Party since 1832. Senator Obama is attracting support among people here, and across the nation, that have never shown desire to support any Democrat.
We will make big gains in the Senate and in the House this fall. But like it or not, to win the White House, and to lift the entire ticket even higher will require the ability to attract support among independents, moderates, and to be able to peel away that thin sliver of reasonable Republicans. Senator Obama has demonstrated that ability. Senator Clinton, not so much.

They support Democratic policies by wide margins, but this thin but deciding demographic is not a solid Democrat vote in the election for president. If it was, we would not have lost 7 of the last 10 presidential elections.
We have the most favorable political winds at our back in 70 years. But we can lose the White House, yet again.

Their politics are indistinguishable but their appeal is not. He is far more charismatic than she is. There are probably apolitical young people who would vote for him but not for her.

McCain will not carry their vote in the South. This might be the first election since 1864 where white southerners can be utterly dismissed as a voting block. I can hardly wait for that Elvis belt buckle on the old bible belt to get some tarnish to it.

Why even the Republican governor has tried to calm the registered democrats fears, that their vote did indeed count.
And Crist is not too pleased with Obama and Kerry with this crap, for sure.

18. Well, if that's true, that |
|
Florida and Ohio will decide the general election, then I have lost all hope.
Remember what Florida and Ohio have done in the last 2 Presidential elections? We will have another Republican in the White House if this is true. The election systems in these 2 states have already been set up for THEFT; why wouldn't they be geared for Repug THEFT yet again?
Let's hope the Dem candidate sweeps enough states so that the Repugs can't steal it again.

We came out in mass in florida even though our vote didn't count and no real campaigning other then the Obama ads. Does anyone know the numbers? I'm thinking we had a bigger turnout then the GOPers

19. Clinton shouldn't take Obama's enthusiastic volunteers for granted. |
|
It takes shoe leather and grunt work to get elected, even for Her Inevitableness. As it is, the Clinton campaign in my state is hiring canvassers and using robo-calls. We have more live volunteers than we know what to do with at Obama HQ.
Those volunteers, particularly the young ones who went to Iowa and NH, are plenty disgusted with the behavior of the Clintons right now. Back in '04, the Dean and Clark people went over to help John Kerry without hesitation. But then, John Kerry hadn't pissed them off. Personally, I know that I'll vote for her in the general but she's not getting one dime of my money and I probably will have better things to do than help her campaign.

25. She doesn't though. That's the thing |
|
This type of talk by the candidates themselves has not come from both sides. Some times I step back and give a sigh of appreciation that Hillary Clinton hasn't pink baited the left given how outrageous the claims made against her are by some who are left of center. Clinton voted AGAINST slamming Move On.org when the U.S. Senate condemned Move On by name. Hillary Clinton attended Yearly Kos even though she knew most netroots folks were against her. She never runs against the left no matter how ugly the attacks on her have been. She keeps seeking our support respectfully, whether or not the netroots treat her respectfully.
